Easy Tea Ottawa

So happy to see these guys have reopened. They were temporarily closed for a long time. Got their Red Lychee Tea with no sugar, but it was really sweet, lol. Might be because of the toppings. It automatically came with popping boba, but I didn't know, so I added tapioca and coconut jelly. I think they gave me mango jelly actually, but that's ok, I like mango jelly too. Anyway, it was good and they were generous with the toppings, but it was way too sweet for no added sugar. The tapioca was soft and chewy and tasted fresh. I came on a Saturday and they were pretty busy but I didn't wait too long for my drink. A good option for bubble tea in Chinatown. Note they are only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday and only 3pm-8pm.

Really enjoyed my experience there today. The person who served me was friendly and service was quick. I got the red bean hot chocolate and it was quite tasty! Was surprised with how much red bean they actually put in it. Will definitely go back. I hope they eventually reopen for dine in though.

The lady isn’t polite, no greeting and not even a smile. The place is very quiet, no music and not much of an atmosphere. The drinks are incredibly sweet, pearls are soaked in brown sugar making them really sweet, and it’s quite pricey. The milk teas overall are pretty tasty when reducing the sugar levels though. Would recommend other bubble tea spots such as Coco fresh not too far from this place, or none franchise places such as bublicity, honey boba, and hangout just down the street or Somerset.

Service was terrible, even for an Asian run business. Don’t trust that it’ll open right on time because we had to wait 15 minutes after the supposed open time. When they were opening, the person literally did not acknowledge us or tell us about anything. We really felt unwelcomed and to be honest I shouldn’t have bought anything then. I got the brown sugar zaza pearl tea $7 and they didn’t even have regular boba pearls ready. I had it with popping bobas instead which didn’t make sense with the flavour I got. Overall, you may as well go with chatime or sweet tea because at least the service is better than here.

The tea is really good, maybe a little too sweet but my biggest complian are the pearls. It's my third time there an they are always raw, rock solid in the middle. You should check this to improve quality!

Overall not too bad, wait was short and drinks are pretty good. Highly recommend mango slush, it’s not too sweet.

There was only one person working and my friend and I had to wait 30 min. for our 2 drinks. Another person was waiting after us but he wasn't being served and he left because he heard we were already waiting 20 minutes. I can't even appreciate the drink itself because after only 2-3 sips, the pearls clogged my straw and that was the end of my drink.
