Really enjoyed coming here on a weekday evening. We came in right before the dinner rush and easily got a table in the bar area. I ordered a cider flight and the brisket mac and cheese. The flight was good. I just wish you could make your own flight for beer or cider as they only have preset flights. The brisket Mac and cheese was amazing! I would easily come back again just for that dish. My partner ordered a porter flight and brisket sandwich. They really enjoyed their food too. We’ll easily come back again soon!
Decent items on the menu to choose from. We ordered several dishes to try. The beef brisket to me was not soft. We had to send back the tater tots because it wasn't fried much. They refried it and it was better. For me all the dishes were ok. I liked the tomato bisque the best. The waffles were good. Not soft and mushy like a lot of places. My boyfriend liked everything and said he would go back. I can take it or leave it. Service was good.
TL:DR - Some of the best BBQ in the state with plenty of beverage choices and a slight oscillation in quality. The brisket is usually the best meat with the rest being more often too dry or lacking enough flavor alone The sides are pretty good if you stay away from the chili and salad. There's a noticeable lack of corn-based cake products. The Carolina-style mustard sauce is usually a dynamic and wonderful choice. The virginia-style sweet red is pretty typical, good but average, solid but not exciting. I would definitely go here more than once if you crave BBQ and want to form an opinion for yourself.
Tried the fruit cider flight and a beer flight - both are pretty nice. A bit on the expensive side. For food we tried the vegan chicken wings - they come with a sugarcane “bone”. Tasted pretty niceforgot to take a photo. Also tried the parmesan tater tots - they were really nice. Overall decent place to watch some sports or just hang out in Redmond.
This place always has a wide variety of beers and has recently added cocktails. There is both inside seating and outside heated seating. Plus they have a great menu of snacks all the way to some great meats. And lots of TVs for the sports days. Good place for a beer or a full meal.
We had our office Happy Hours at Eastside Beerworks, The GM, Cameron was so helpful setting up this event for our company well in advance with great commutation. It was the best office function we’ve ever had~ Great food and drinks, staffs are friendly and helpful, cleanness, great atmosphere, everything was perfect. Everyone enjoyed and told me how much they enjoyed at your pub. We will definitely come back more!
I was craving BBQ while traveling through Redmond for a day and found this place. I'm glad I did! I came on a weekday afternoon. It had a nice, clean neighborhood bar feel. The bartender was friendly and attentive. I ordered a brisket plate and the meal was excellent! I might argue for more meat if there was a choice in serving size but the tenderness and flavor were spot on. I did not drink but I am familiar with/enjoy craft brews and I was impressed by the high quality selection of beer and cider. Overall, would go again! I probably will the next time I am passing through the area.
Great bar / restaurant, I can always find a good beer to drink and love their bbq Mac and cheese. Deserts are also good. Service is always kind and quick. They have a few tables outside that are great during the summer days. Bar tender knows his beer and have good recommendations. Will be back soon :
Eastside Beerworks is a great place to have a few drinks, a few bites, and watch the game! Very inviting atmosphere, nice staff, and easy view of multiple tv screens. They have a large selection of beers, ales, and ciders. I got the dragon fruit cider ruby color, a baked apple cider cider, and "lithium" lemoncello cider. I highly recommend these ciders! The dragon fruit cider didn't smell nor taste like dragon fruit but it looked nice and still tasted great! The baked apple cider has a light smell of a baked apple pie and it tastes a bit like it too! Though it all tastes and smell like a cider should be. Likewise, the "Lithium" Lemoncello had a few hints of lemoncello, both in smell and taste. I also had chips with queso along with house tots. Both were good nothing to discuss but still hit the spot. They also have great soups, sandwiches, salads, tacos, Mac and cheese, and meat plates. Yeah.... Plenty for you to try!
They use online menus, but no cell service in the restaurant with Verizon so we had difficulty ordering. I ordered a flight of beer which came back with great beers associated with numbers. Given that I couldn't see a menu because of the lack of cell service and no wifi, I asked I had no idea what I was drinking. Food was good though, and drinks and atmosphere were pleasant. 4% credit card fee at the end of the meal was disappointing and a surprise.
