Durham Ultimate Fitness - North Club

I have been a member of Ultimate Fitness formally known as Body Boomers for over 15 years. I have had nothing but good experiences there. The best part of being a member was investing in a personal trainer which I recommend to everyone even if you only purchase a few sessions to get you familiar with how to use the machines and set some goals. I have been training with Randy Jackson off and on since last fall. He has helped me get my balance and strength back from from a massive car accident. I am not sure if I would be where I am today if it weren't for investing in a trainer. Randy has also helped and continues to help my son with how to use the machines, use proper form, and building up his strength due to some physical struggles he had as a child. In just 6 weeks my son's strength has changed dramatically. Thank you Randy and Ron for all your help and support.

This gym is absolutely incredible. Everything from the welcoming staff members to the classic old school bodybuilding environment this facility has to offer. You can't compare this gym to places like LA, Goodlife, Fit4less, or any other high end gym you can think of. What makes this gym the most special is the environment and the members. It's the crowd that goes here that makes all the difference. If an inspirational environment is what you're looking for, I can say you will fit right in! Also, huge shout out to the owners, managers, receptionists, personal trainers, nutritionists, sales reps and the rest of the staff members. You guys are the foundation!

Good place if you don't care much about classes, as it has pretty much everything you need for strength training.

Shady business. They lie to customers in order to get them to sign and get locked into contracts. They continue to charge customers after cancellation and management is never around to fix it. Contract rules are always changing, they just make stuff up as they go. Equipment is old and always broken/out of order, they take forever to fix it because they don't want to spend the money. Cheaper to go to other gyms like Fit4Less, newer/better equipment, you don't have to lock into a contract.
