At Dunrovin, we not only cater to those who love to fish, hunt, snowmobile & ice fish, but to the entire family. Great news... we are now open all year round! Blackduck Lake has some of the best walleye & jumbo perch fishing in Minnesota! Snowmobile trails are right out the door! While you are here, check out our video game & book areas inside the lodge. For your enjoyment, we offer sand volleyball, kayaking, canoeing and paddle boating at no additional charge. Do you have too big of a family for your fishing boat? No problem, we offer pontoon rentals too! For you convenience, down on our level lake shore we have gas & bait available for sale. We now offer, in all of our cabins, wireless DSL internet, HD LCD TV's with DVD players, and cable TV for those "rainy" days! We strive to make your stay enjoyable & relaxing all in one!

I love coming here. We come to Dunrovin once a year for 4 days and couldn't ask for anything better in Blackduck, MN. Owners are phenomenal and take very good care of their resort. The cabins are clean, well equipped and cozy. Great views of the lake and there are so many options available. If I could give it more stars I would. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get away for a while.

We stayed at Dunrovin Resort for 2 months in spring of 2017.  The resort was in great shape and we had a FANTASTIC stay.  

Great things to know:

1.  Cleanliness:  Our cabin was very clean.  We called in advance and had to drive in late at night.  The porch light was on, the cabin was warm and it was very clean.  We cooked every day in the kitchen and it was just like being at home.

2.  Staff:  Shannon and Larry are fantastic hosts.  We were very pleased with their hospitality.  They went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of.  I could not say enough about this family.  After a late season snow, they dug out sleds for our kids to play with on their great hill, above the new basketball court.  So much fun.

3.  Location:  We super enjoyed the lake.  (Larry, thank you again for your Pontoon Ride. The eagle experience was priceless for the kids and mom and I)  We caught our first northern pike and that was extremely exciting for folks coming from down south.  Blackduck and Bemidji were nice places to visit.  Be sure and get the pizza at the Bowling Alley in Blackduck.

All in all.  Great place to stay.  Very pleased with our new friendship with Dunrovin Resort  and Shannon and Larry.  We would absolutely stay again and again.

The resort is very nice. Owners are kind and go out of their way to make your experience great. Lots of amenities to make your time on the lake pleasant. Would recommend to anyone looking to get out of town and relax.

We stayed at Dunrovin Resort  the 3rd week of May, 2017. The cabin and resort were very clean and well kept. There is plenty of dock space, electric outlets for boat charging and great lighting at night. There are also alot of activities for the kids as well. Larry and Shannon are two of the  nicest  people I've ever met. Their hospitality was outstanding, and were always happy to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Looking forward to our stay again next year.

We spent several months here "literally" and the family that owns it - is absolutely as friendly as can be. Just a few steps from Blackduck lake our cabin was the 3 room cabin and very spacious.

It is very quiet and several times a day you get to see a small herd of deer right off the back porch.

Our sunrises and sunsets we're absolutely beautiful most days the position on the lake is perfect to see both of them with beautiful Skies.

Don't just come in the summer try it in the winter as well just like we did there is plenty of room on Blackduck Lake for ice fishing in fact if you ask the front desk they can hook you right up.

Internet never failed us and we were able to have a very nice telephone /cell signal as well (Verizon). There was a nearby grocery store and a few small restaurants but we did most of our cooking in the cabins kitchen.

If you and your family or your friends want a place to enjoy yourselves then come to Dunrovin. Best of all you can bring your pets.
