Dumpling Melody Bistro

Interesting place, the chef has a turntable that they play fine classical music on; bit surreal but I was digging it. Food wise everything was well prepared, fresh and tasty. Recommend the spicy Szechuan chicken. So so on the dumplings then again not a huge fan of dumplings. Beer $4 a bottle. Will definitely return. Note: we were the only patrons dining in which makes you wonder but as mentioned the food was just fine. Also note students from the Humber jazz program play in the restaurant on Saturday.

Pleasantly surprised! We were drawn in by the "$4.99 Lunch Special" sign. The cost covers 5 large dumplings and a pop. Dumplings were great and other than the Ikea plastic cups someone else mentioned, the presentation was good. @bikingtogetfood

This used to be my fave dumpling stop in the area. I once rated it 5 stars. Recently, I tried to place an order for delivery on 3 separate occasions, all which ended up being cancelled due to them being unable to fulfill my order. I gave them multiple chances over a span of weeks... When I called in, the customer service they once had just seemed to fall apart. Disappointed.

The dumplings were great. And it's great value for money. But my friends who ordered other dishes didn't like their food at all! And the service was terrible.

Decent and cheap. The food and drink is solid. Service and presentation leaves something to be desired. Ikea plastic cups should probably be upgraded.

Simply the best dumplings, hand in hand with the best music, service and ambience. Would recommend this 10/10

Saturday afternoons usually have quiet live band. Great food!

Very reasonable prices with jazz piping through the hifi.
