Li's Oriental Kitchen

I have been coming here for 20 years, and yesterday was the first time I was very dissatisfied. First I had to wait 1/2 hour later than the promised pickup time, then the portions were significantly downsized from my previous visit. Pork fried rice was fresh and excellent as always, but the General Cho chicken was inedible. The chicken was stringy and so tough I good not chew it or even cut it with a knife. Hopefully this was a one time occurrence, as usually everyone raves about the quality.

Tiny little Chinese restaurant that's take out only. There's no chairs or anything, strictly food to go. Not much room to stand and wait if there's more than 3 people waiting. With the covid going on, it was tight in there. Food was good and the service was quick. There's a ton of parking in the plaza.

Sadly my favourite takeout is gone... They had really good, fresh and fast food. Always delicious. Take-out and delivery only.

Got the Chicken fried rice and BBQ Pork. And it was just okay. I pass this place going to Kipling station daily so I finally decided to try it. The pork was tough and the sauce on it needs improvement. The rice has nice chunks of chicken through out it but overall is lack luster. @ $19 for the two items there are better take out places delivering more flavour in the west end.

Honestly, a really solid western style chinese restaurant. Classic combo of a couple old chinese guys and the big woks. Great wok hei flavour coming out of the food. Hit the spot for what I was craving.

I've been trying to order and no one is picking up the phone on two different occasions on Saturday the 22nd and Wednesday 26th so I'm going to give it try again on Thursday 27th hopefully I'll get through if not I'm done with this place.

Always hot and fresh. Always delicious . Never go elsewhere when we crave Chinese food. Parking: Park right up to the front door. Tim hortons is nextdoor so more parking.

I’m writing this review after my third bite!! And I’m hungry….. Amazing! I come from Calgary and I have tasted over a dozen places here in Toronto and this is by FAR the best! Thank you!!! Finally found where we will be ordering from. Bravo!

$6.95 lunch combos plus HST are the best deal in town and include one free canned soft drink. Huge portions. Can easily spread this out over 2 meals. Note lunch combos are $2 more after 4 pm. This is a CLEAN restaurant. Not the best tasting Chinese food in the world but more than satisfactory considering the price. No tables. Just a stand-up counter along the window.

I love this place. Their chicken balls are tasty and their lunch combos are great. You get a can of pop and an egg roll with your meal. The food doesn’t take long to prepare either. This is my go to place for Chinese food.
