DressForLess Thrift Store

Soooooo many choices! I found brand new dresses for very little money. Everything is well organized and clean.

Lots of items, very reasonable prices. Super nice staff.

Horrible. First off, a pair of worn out Walmart boots costs $30 here and $40 brand new in Walmart. Prices are comparable to Value Village. Second, I called ahead of time asking if they had winter clothes and was told yes...I asked if she had time if she could gather some up and I would take them all as I was dropping them all at the shelter and she said YES. Note* She could have said no and it would have been fine - I understand that people are busy and that I'm not entitled to their time. When I showed up 20 minutes later the woman very rudely told me that she had not had time to unpack her winter selection this year this was mid December and that it was not her job to gather clothes for people to buy and that if I wanted to buy something I could go look for it myself... apparently I offended her very deeply by simply asking if she had the time to help me. Why say yes if you're just going to snarl at me and berate me when I get there? Why say you have something that you clearly know that you do not? It's quite out of the way and I made a special trip there just because she said she had what I was looking for. This store is a hard pass for me.

We popped in just to have a look around and ended up buying some things at a great price. There are heaps of soft cover books at a buck a book. My wife found some clothes and begged to go back again to look around more. I'll be back.

The dark haired woman behind the counter is the most rude and disrespectful person I have met in a very long time. When you call to see if your package is there they never answer the phone and when you bring that to their attention she'll tell you how you how it is and how *I* am not the one who calls, they are - really.... Screw you guys - your customer service is pathetic. Always a hassle getting a Purolator parcel from her. Purolator corporate will be hearing about this yet again.
