Dr. Edgar Maeyens, MD

I will really miss Dr. Maeyens. He performed Mohs facial surgery for a basal cell carcinoma in 2012 on me, and it healed beautifully. I always enjoyed his humor during my annual checkups, and it was obvious he loved his work. I was sad to learn that he joined Silver Falls in July of 2017, as I do not want to travel that far from my home. My neighbor always went with me and we scheduled our appointments together. She will miss him too.

I have been going to Dr. Maeyens for many years for a variety of skin problems all of which have been favorably resolved. Dr. Maeyens is also very funny so the visits are entertaining as well. We are fortunate to have such a wonderful skin specialist here in Coos Bay/North Bend area.

Lady who answers the phone and greets clients is very cold and not nice at all. She doesn't seem to like her job very much and doesn't apologize for extremely long wait times.

I have ohp and was sent here to have some moles looked at. Dr. Told me" beings you have more than your fair share of children you probably can't afford my help. And if your doctor was that concerned he would do it himself!" What a guy! To much paper work??? Got a new doc and sure enough my moles have tested abnormal
