Dr Chew is close to retirement and doesn’t not have any passion for patients. His assessment skills are limited and chooses no to conduct any. I’m also a health care professional and very concerned for elderly folks who needs more support. Do the wait and seek another neurologist.
This man is a straight shooter. My wife Leslie adores him. Such a lovely man. He is always the bearer of bad news so don't shoot the messenger. We love you Dr Chew. Thanks for all your help in getting Leslie through MS.
Dr. Chew was the neurologist working at the Niagara Falls hospital while my grandpa was brought in by ambulance with signs of stroke. After have a CT Scan, Dr. Chew told us he was "perfectly fine" with no apparent signs. He performed a quick 10 second neuro test and yelled at my 70 year old grandpa when he didn't move fast enough for him. Dr. Chew was rude, disrespectful to us and my grandpa. He sent my grandpa home, and the next day he had became worse. Called an ambulance again and was taken to St. Catharines hospital. After the neurologist at this hospital looked at the previous CT Scan, it showed signs of a recent stroke, and multiple strokes previous. The same CT Scan that Dr Chew looked at. This man is out dated, past retirement and disrespectful. He doesn't care about his patients or their well being. If you are sent to Dr Chew, it is best to find a new neurologist. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. The way he treated my grandpa was disgusting, he gave wrong results, and he was over all rude. This man deserves to have his license revolked.
i had 2 mini strokes last year.he did many tests on me.put on a heart monitor for a month that where on me..found i had trouble with my heart.he was kind and respectful.and his nurse connie took care of me now for over a 1 and half and is super kind.she take me serious and prescribes what i need and takes my blood pressure 5 times everytime i go. and monitors me closely.i have nothing to say but good.he saw me right away the next day after my 1 st mini stroke...and i saw afterwards too
I have a friend that went to this doctor which I use loosely she left is office in tears. He is a very arrogant man with no people skills. She walked out in more pain than before is office visit. He should not be allowed to practise medicine. Don't ever go see this doctor you will regret your descision . All of these things he is lacking in.
He deserves no stars. He is rude and very not compassionate.
It wasn't my first experience with someone like him and probably won't be my last however he is the most arrogant of them all, close to retirement or not he should have been a psychiatrist instead. He had no trouble disrespecting my fiancé. I will admit he did do a thorough exam on me but only focused on one or two things that I said and assumed the rest. I still have no problem providing him evidence and witnesses to my situation and lack thereof of what he thinks he knows about me and how I feel physically.
