Caetano H Dr

Insufficient care. Our daughter was sent from the St. Catharine's ER to Dr. Caetano at GNG Hospital for drainage of a tonsil abscess. She had severe throat and neck/gland pain and swelling, worse on the left side, and difficulty swallowing. Dr. Caetano looked at her tonsils for 3 seconds and said "so you don't have an abscess. I'm really surprised they didn't test you for mono". She did not do any other assessment of her tonsils or symptoms. The following day our daughter's pain was even more severe. We called an ambulance because she was choking and coughing up blood. Back at the St. Catharine's ER where care was excellent both visits the doctor looked at her tonsils and said "oh wow, it's ready to burst." He quickly called for the in house ENT doctor. This specialist knew right away what to do, and drained a large amount of pus from her left tonsil. This could have become a much worse situation quickly, if her breathing became affected or the infection spread. Dr. Caetano seemed to be in a rush seeing patients and did not provide proper and safe care for our daughter.

I had nasal polyp surgery 3 times. No fault to Dr. Caetano on the return of these polyps. Very professional, courteous, and compassionate. I feel at ease in her care. The same can be said for her office staff that are very friendly and caring as well. Highly recommend Dr. Helen Caetano

I have been having a difficult time breathing for the past 18 months. I was referred to Dr. Caetano and she was extremely pleasant and noted immediately that I had polyps in my nose. She is very competent and treated me with compassion. I’m having surgery and would highly recommend her to anyone needing her assistant. Thank you Dr Caetano.

Received a call for an apt referred by my doctor, and when called was told that I had an outstanding $75 for a no show from last year, which I never booked or requested to book. Stay away from this doctor, terrible service from front desk… in my opinion it’s best to book with Dr Robichaud and have a longer wait time for apt. Now I know why a wait time for apt is shorter at this office… no one wants to go there

Dr. Caetano herself is a kind and efficient doctor. Her staff is another story. The receptionist was extremely ignorant and unprofessional to my 71 year old mother. Absolutely appalling to see an elder treated so awful. Hopefully karma will not come back on her when she is elderly.

Extremely rude and condescending front desk receptionist. Sounded like she was talking to me from a prison cell. Happily took my referral elsewhere, would’ve liked to get in to see Helen, oh well.

Very professional caring friendly staff, all are super professional and helpful. Dr. Caetano indeed on top of her profession, a great very knowledgeable physician. She is incredible.

Dr. Caetano is a rarity in my experience with doctors, she's interested in her patients. She has a lovely calming bedside manner and she's gentle. She listens and doesn't rush you or look annoyed when you ask questions or complain. Aside from the reason I was seeing her it was a great experience.

Dr. Caetano has been so wonderful. She is going g to take my tonsils, adenoids out and fix my diviated septum so I can breath clearly. Going for a scope in her office in August and then surgery hopefully soon after that

She denied me a tonsillectomy. She pumped me with antibiotics for 9 months which messed up my digestive system and gave me oxy's twice. I begged her for a tonsillectomy on multiple occasions but her reason for not doing it was because "the healing process is very painful". Guess what, It's been 4 years and I still get tonsilitis. Thanks alot.
