Story

A place for people of all ages! We are a family owned campground located south of the town of Lindsay in the City of Kawartha Lakes.
In a natural setting, we are a family campground that offers overnight, weekly or camping/RV'ing for the season from mid May to Thanksgiving.

We offer many planned activities on weekends in our Rec hall such as dances with a dj or band, darts & cards, as well as a selection of outdoor activities such as swimming at our sandy beach, excellent fishing off our shoreline, a children's playground, beach volleyball, basketball court, tetherball, horseshoes, baseball or yoga... there is an activity sure to be a favorite for everyone in the Family! Or just relax with family & friends... It is truly a place for people of all ages.

Really enjoyed our stay at Double M. lots of activities for kids and grown ups. Grounds felt very clean, friendly and safe. Guests were very respectful of the speed limits on the grounds. Loved the access to a small beach by the river, water was clean.
After buying a travel trailer we travelled to many different parks in Ontario. We chose to settle at Double M because it’s a privately owned park by some of the most friendly and helpful people we have ever come across. The owners get involved in the many events that are hosted annually from Christmas in July to family day lots going on to keep the little ones busy. The residents of the park are also always willing to lend a hand. Residents are friendly and this park has a great community that we are happy to be part of.
Awesome campground!! Well maintained, staff are great the sites are great on the river!!! Plus the fishing was great too!! Check it out as prices are more than reasonable
Lovely spot, overnight camping spots are located right near the water, has a great swim spot for the children and adults. Also has a nice little park to keep the kids entertained. The staff are always friendly, it’s a small family run business which is so nice to see. The store serves the best ice cream Kawartha Dairy and always has a good selection of essential goods and candies. We love camping at Double M can’t wait to go back.
Very nice park, lots of greens, large field, horseshoes, volleyball net, nice beach, great fishing, friendly staff. Amazing place to camp!
Toured this place with the owner Daphne she was fantastic and so accommodating , easy going and super nice . It's a very warm welcoming trailer park . Very clean and very well kept. This family owned park is fantastic. The only reason we are not their, is because we were looking for a pool and a place to used our golf cart . The beach is great , and the new dock system going in, is fantastic . If you are looking for an awesome place to go too this is the place you need to go to. I will always recommend this park to anyone .

We had a great time visiting our friends there it would have been awesome but the public washrooms were not opened opened. As my wife could not use the facilities because she has bad knees.
Went there a few years ago, staff was friendly. Resident spending the summer not so much. Young men that own the trailer closest to the office, keep coming down the hill to check if we were still out. We heard them yell to each other “they’re still there”, I thought nothing of it since we were on the river and maybe they wanted to go for a quick dip. Next day I noticed the cash 30$ was missing from my car. I didn’t even realize what had happened, thought maybe I lost it. The place was beautiful on the river so we took our family there the next year. Same thing happened! This time all the cars were robbed of cash. We left same day. Beautiful location but obviously weekenders are not welcomed. We have been to about 15 different cabins/tent parks since this time and we have never experienced anything like it! Shame bc it’s a beautiful spot and the lady who runs it is nice but, plenty other places to enjoy with the unwelcomed car raiders
