A nice eclectic cozy cafe in downtown markham They use hatch coffee for their brews and espresso which is nicely done. The coffee was smooth and left no aftertaste of bitterness or any unwanted notes Nice little sweetness with the condensed milk in the Spanish latte without it being overly sweet Barista helping out was quick and very good at combining the elements of a latte from steaming to latte art I said this was an eclectic cozy feel as this also doubles as a florist shop and they also have a nice little activity that’s very cool for kids and adults where you make your own chocolate bar tablet Great job overall!
Inside the Doki Floral shop is Dopapen Coffee. They use Hatch beans and offer many special and unique drinks. It is a space for slow living and enjoyment. The barista uses great care to create the drink. I ordered a hot oat milk latte and my first few sips I can taste the aroma. It is one of the oat lattes I’ve had in the community. I noticed they use Oatside. One thing to note is if they put the lid where the mouth piece is along the seam, it can be leaky. This can happen at other cafes as well, simply rotate the lid to the opposite side. Definitely will be back.
Very nice place for enjoying cups of high quality pour over and special coffee drinks. With flower shop at the front added unique features to the cafe. I only see this kind of layout at downtown. Now, we have it too at Markham! Great addition to neighbourhood
To be honest, the coffee does fit my taste. We ordered “Coco goes nut” and very tasteless, really recommend they don’t make Espresso with coconut water anymore. The two are not getting along together, the bean is not good and coconut water is just the one from costco. They just mixed them together. I ordered “elderberry americano”, not tasty either, but better than the coconut espresso. Staff is friendly but very slow, so that we almost missed our movie. Took 15mins to make the 2 coffee. No fresh food there. The snack bar tastes normal. Atmosphere is awesome! It is a flower studio at the same time. I think they made all efforts to the decoration. The location is middle of nowhere… not easy to park either. Generally speaking, unless you are nearby, no point of coming in on purpose. But no better cafe nearby either, no other choice… Took us $20 for 2 coffee and a snack cracker.
Cozy coffee shop with classic drink offerings as well as carefully curated seasonal drinks. Tried a flat white and the Coconut Matcha drink forget the name both were delicious. The cafe itself is a shared space with a floral shop. Feels like you are a guest in someone’s home!
Nice little coffee shop nestled in a florist’s. Great drinks and great service.Food: 5/5
Not too many places offer nice pourover coffee in uptown, I would say this shop offer nice pourover. They use lots of Hatch bean but is an alternative in having Hatch pourover besides visiting Hatch. Also would be cheaper too for pourover when you choose the Hatch premium grade coffee bean.
Cute café & floral studio! Coffee is great and barista very nice.Food: 5/5
This is by far the best coffee place I have visited in the area. I just love the atmosphere and environment of the shop. Everything is super attention to detail and their beans and drinks are so pretty for taking pictures! Owner is a wonderful person to chat with and I want to come here everyday!Food: 5/5
Great tea! Friendly and quick service. Cafe is located inside a floral studio, with cute flowers, stuffed animals, and arts littering the walls.Food: 5/5
