Well I really loved my cold noodles and the taste of the Bibimbap. I have seen some people eating the cold noddles but I have never got the confidence to try it. And now I have tried it and it was very delicious. The others were what my family ordered and they liked there food. Just that the shack noodle soup surprised my mom because it was taste she never tried it and just needed some more salt. But overall we all liked our own food. This is my second time coming here. Good service. Friendly people.
Tried spicy squid stir fry, beef bone soup, goat soup, and soon-dae so far at Doo Roo Ae. They were all delicious and prepared quickly. When I tried the side dishes, I knew their main food was going to be amazing. I tried out the restaurant based on positive reviews and I am so happy to have found this place. If you are craving good authentic Korean food, try this place out! You will not be disappointed.
RECOMMEND - Not a fancy place at all but you can enjoy authentic Korean food. Tried their Spicy stir fried squid rice and it was good! Hope the side dish coming along could be improved.
absolute crack. so delicious. the iced cold noodles exactly what I needed in 40+ degree weather. authentic owned by koreans and the food was so delicious I could see better after I ate. the combo was perfect and I drank almost all the soup. I will be back very soon.
One of my favourite local Korean, family owned, restaurants in Koreatown! Lots of options, good portions, friendly service! Also quite spacious, so very good for a group. Absolutely love this place.
Came here for dinner on a weekday and had a lovely meal. We ordered the Kalguksu knife cut noodles, spicy chicken, and tteokbokki spicy rice cakes. Everything was delicious! The rice cakes were especially good - soft and chewy and really good flavour. They also had a variety of side dishes which I really appreciated. We came around 6:30pm and it was pretty empty, but it quickly got busy at around 7:00pm. The service was quick and friendly and the space was pleasant and roomy. There were little screens that separated some of the tables to provide some privacy, which was super nice. Definitely come here if you want great, no-fuss Korean food!
consistency of awesome food taste well mannered not great fabulous interior expecting restaurant, but cozy atmosphere for me not much of MSG I guess I do not taste greasy feeling from my tongue and thirst of dryness from throat until now great restaurant
They serve the best side dishes in K Town. Main entrees are higher quality than others in the area.
Great food as always! Tteokbokki with cheese: soft and chewy rice cake! Deliciously flavoured! Different from other shops as it is fried with vegetables peppers and mushrooms. Lots of vegetables! Cheese on top taste fantastic and adds texture to the dish! But for $2 extra the portion of cheese given is small. KamjaTang: very flavourful and overall delicious. Same taste as other top restaurants.
One of the decent restaurant in Korea town. Nothing particularly too special, but overall the food was okay. The only thing that I regretted to ordering from this restaurant is the dish with the dried fish see picture I posted . The texture of this dish is very dry and hard. It's kinda of disappointing
