Dollarama

About eight days ago, I made a fairly large purchase from this store. After returning home, I realized that I did not need three of the plates I had bought and decided to return them. However, due to the rush at the time of purchase, I forgot to take the receipt.nnWhen I went back to the store to return the items, I was asked for the receipt. I explained that I did not have it, but I could show proof of purchase through my online banking transaction history. Despite this, they refused to accept it and insisted that a receipt was required for any return.nnI have been shopping at this store for about ten years and have made returns before without ever being asked for a receipt. This time, however, it felt like the process was made unnecessarily difficult.nnMy advice to other customers: always make sure to take and keep your receipt when shopping here.

The biggest Dollarama I've ever been to, it's self serve only so it may take a while depending on the competency of the public. I wanted a material shower liner, on Amazon and AliExpress the cheapest was 24$, here I paid $4.75, the trip from the city was worth it just for that.

Good size shop with all Possible stuff. Self check out is pro if you are a quick shopper. Cons with self check out if you're a big shopper. It takes an hour to self scan.

The store has a broad inventory. I always find everything. The inventory in food has expanded recently. I buy a lot of art supplies and books for my kids. They have oftentimes hardcover books and comic books, which are usually expensive. They also have both self-check out and cashiers. Plenty of parking. Nice employees.

Wish they didn’t take out the self checkout but good store! Lots of selection for decoration
