The food and beer menus were both printed on computer paper and stapled together. The menu just listed the food choices and prices..there were no descriptions whatsoever on what the food items actually were. The same goes with the beer menu. There was no description on what the beers actually tasted like...just the name of the beer and the alcohol content. I expected more than a computer printout to help me make a decision on what to eat or drink. The beer (Gwiser) was good, but our meal took well over an hour to be served. And it was only two burgers and a fish sandwich. The restaurant was not crowded at 6:30 pm on a Friday, so I'm not sure what took so long. They should really take steps in improving their menus by having them printed by a company instead of at home. Some people want to read about a beer and food to make an informed decision and not be forced to ask 50 questions to a server about what each beer tastes like and what each sandwich actually consists of.

This was a very family friendly environment which is important since I had 2 children with me. The beer was fantastic!!! The strawberry smoothie IPA and wheat were my favorites. The food was also delicious. The kids loved the giant pretzel and I really enjoyed the fish. I would highly recommend Doc G's and look forward to going back!

Food came FAST. I liked my pulled pork sandwiches. My husband enjoyed trying one of their beers.

GREAT place! Started with the pretzel with crab and cheese dip, then we got the crabcake sandwich and a bacon cheeseburger washed down with an orange blossom wheat ale.
Our server Sue was lots of fun.
We'll be back.

Doc G's is a great brewpub and restaurant in downtown DuBois. The original brews are all very good, and the food is fantastic as well. I've always had a good experience, and enjoy the decor and ambiance...it's just a comfortable place to sit, have a meal, and enjoy a few unique brews.
