Great space that opened in 2016. They're doing amazing displays with what they have. I'd say it's a must-visit if you're in Halifax. It's interesting that they're wanting to mix arts with science as part of their mandate. pricing is $12 adults, $10 kids, special $40 for a family.

Very awesome play had the kids there. And the t-Rex display was amazing. The whole place was great and everyone loved it. But the place needs hand sanitizer dispensers everywhere just like a hospital. With all the hands on displays I can't believe they didn't think of this. Kinda pathetic really.

Excellent for all ages. Had a blast. Only issue... Signage for the centre faces the wrong way on a one way street! Drove past and had to loop around

Lots of displays, interactive content, virtual reality, etc stuff to keep, kids entertained (the LEGO pits, top floor, are a good resting spot for weary parents). One criticism : the centre desperately needs improved signage on the boardwalk side (even better, a boardwalk entrance). We walked right past it and we were looking specifically for the DC. An hour (and one cranky kid) later, we found it on the long walk back, at which point some parents and miss might be too tired to find the rather hidden entrance.

Not a place to go if your kids are older than 10 years old or very clever. The planetarium presenter could benefit from elecution/presentation training; she was very difficult to hear and understand; she kept taking deep breathes mid sentence. Her use of the laser light was difficult to follow. My nephew was bored after 1 hour.
