A must see when you are in Halifax. The Citadel itself is a prime example of a verdun fortress, similar to the British fort in Annapolis Royal but on a much grander scale.

Wondrous site with plenty of info about the imperial British army. Structures and interior of rooms are carefully preserved. And most importantly a group of very informative staff, all dressed in old English style and uniforms. Also, the English tour guide lady is very beautiful and sweet!

I grew up playing there and friend fell in the molt around it and it's a beautiful site to see for tourists
