Discount Car & Truck Rentals

Above and Beyond! I had reserved a vehicle online with them on a Friday afternoon, I arrived on the Saturday morning sadly to find that they didn't have my vehicle I reserved. Needless to say I was pretty upset, but the staff were very courteous and accomodating and the store manager went above and beyond to ensure that it was not only a great experience from that point forward but was truly concerned about my future business which is truly refreshing. As it's one thing to fix a problem but another thing to make sure that I'm satisfied to the point that I want to continue to do business with discount in future, which I plan to rent again in a couple weeks! Keep up the great work!

I was very impressed with the friendly staff.l was also shocked at how low there prices were compared to all the other rental places. I definitely will be making this place my new rental company and will be telling my friends and family to come here as well.

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever has from a car rental company. My truck was hit in a hit and run and I had to send it to the shop. I went to discount through my insurance company. It was the first time I ever use discount. They come pick me up and when we arrive they ask me if I'm okay with a small car. I immediately said no, and told them that I had a truck and I need a truck for my small business. They told me they had no trucks at their location. So they called their North Edmonton location and told them that I was on my way to switch the small car they gave me for a truck. So I took the car and drove from the West side location to the North side location. When I arrived no one was there and there was a note saying temporarily out of office. So I waited for about 30 minutes when the only employee there returned. I explained to her that I was sent there to switch my car with the truck. She had no idea what I was talking about and told me she had no trucks and wont have a truck until later that day. So I told her to call me when she does and Ill come in and switch. 2 days later and they haven't called. So I call the North location and she tells there are no trucks and she gives me the number for the main location. I call the main location and I spoke with the manager, Frank. I explained to him that my work has been very limited the passed 2 days without a truck, and that I absolutely need a truck by 1PM today the latest. This was at 9AM when I made the call. He told me they don't have any trucks at the moment but a customer will be returning one at noon, and he said he'll call me when it arrives. So I asked him if he had my number and he said yes. I then asked him what my number was and he gave me a number I've never heard of before. So I gave him my number and I began to anxiously wait. At 12 I didn't receive any calls. So i waited about a hour and a half thinking maybe he's busy. At 1:40PM I call the main location back only to find out that the manager had left and he will be back in 45 minutes. At 2:40 PM I called them back, I spoke with the manager and he told me that he gave my truck that was reserved for me at 12 Noon was given to another customer. Not only do I have to push all my work to next week, but I have o go pick up my wife from the airport in 1 hour and a half and I have to take a god damn cab that will fit her luggage because the small car they gave me is no where near enough. TAKE MY ADVICE AND DO NOT USE DISCOUNT CAR RENTAL.
