Ding Tai Fung Shanghai Dim Sum

The food at Ding Tai Fung was great. The place was clean and the food came quickly after ordering. Since it's a popular place , you will need to be prepared to wait for a table. They have large tables for larger parties, but if you do not mind to change a table, they will at times as if you like to share a large table with other smaller parties.

Awesome meal. Would totally go back! 100% worth the drive. We had 3 different types of dumplings - all were spectacular. The soup dumplings were the highlight though. The noodle dish we had was excellent too!

I believe this is a knock off of the one in Taiwan but they do a good job. I always appreciate a place that has an open kitchen where you can see how they cook their food. Their soup dumplings are quite scrumptious. Always served piping hot and just hot enough to burn the roof of your mouth if you're impatient. I find it hard to resist when it's right in front of me. Their shanghai food is good but nothing out of this world. I would come for their soup dumplings and order the Shanghai food as a filler because you're going to spend a boat load of money if you're filling up on soup dumplings.

Good quality dim sum. A little pricy. Spicy won tons and steamed buns are good.

Vegetable dumplings were really good! Not salty at all and the stuffing was quite interesting. I wish they had more veggie options (dimsum wise).
