One of the few places I would give a 5 star rating for a take out establishment. Have come to this seafood spot for years. It's unique because of the level of attentiveness given each time you enter this eatery. Most places like this is seafood in particular could care less about the customer service, but not DiCola's. Always on point with freshness and quality. You have an option to have seafood cooked or not cooked to prepare as you like. Side dishes are available, as well as beverages. I prefer the Alaskan white fish. Prices is what you would expect in a seafood restaurant but worth the cost. Wait time is excellent from placing the order to receiving. Do yourself a favor and try this hidden gem south of the city. You will come back and won't be disappointed.
DiCola’s has the freshest seafood and fish. I grew up in the Beverly so I’ve been going there for around 50 years. As an adult, I moved to the suburbs. I travel about 45 miles to get to DiCola’s. Definitely worth the trip.
This place is a 1 star operation. It used to be a nice establishment. Now they have a bunch of disrespectful little kids working there with no class. Disrespectful. Here we still gave covid floating around in the air and these disrespectful kids refuse to wear 2 gloves instead of 1 on one hand to handle the food and food trays. They even have the audacity to get smart with you when you ask them a question. I won't be going back to this flea joint no lo ger.
Love them had some huspuppies they we're done. Had some oysters tasted very fishy. But love my shrimp please go back to season fries
Absolutely amazed this place is still open. This place is a shell of its former self. Food and service has taken a major drop off. I've seen gas stations that sell food ran better than this. Service is unapologetically rude. Food is not far from box frozen thrown in a basket with no crackers, bread, french fries, package of salt, packet of ketchup or hot sauce..., that is extra. Also when customers inquire about such amenities... they look at them like they're speaking French. Every restaurant or fast food joint always has those side items. They are certainly aware of it or else they wouldn't try to sell it on the side. They want to treat it like a fish market that is clearly no longer selling fresh fish. Only fresh thing in that place is when the door opens and new air comes in. Too many major grocery stores do what they use to do.. way better. Today I saw them being rude to a customer... that clearly had a legitimate gripe. I certainly will not be going back.
So I haven't had food here since the 90's. I bought their shrimp and it was the saltiest shrimp I've ever had. So now it's 2020 and I figured it has had to improve still there and a 4.4 review right. Wrong got the Catfish and I swear to you the worst I've ever had. The breading was so thick and so tasteless that I would have rather that it was salty. I can't even compare it to anything. So I've included picture. This didn't even deserve 1 star. Never again will not be back.
Please update your closing time. It’s 6pm not 8pm. I was very upset that I couldn’t enjoy your delicious fish because I showed up at 6:30 because you have 8pm closing on google.

I always come here to grab fresh fried fish for my parents. The food is always sooo good!
One of the best Seafood places in Chicago. Highly recommend picking out 6 or 7 items and have them fry it up. Welcome to Delicious.
