Well done BBQ is a real treat, but if you want a BBQ treat, Dickey's is not the place to come, well done BBQ is tender and flavorful, the beef burnt ends were definitely burned up to the point of being so dry the pieces could not be stabbed with a fork, the Mac n Cheese is not the worst but was plain and a little on the soggy side, pork burnt ends were tender as was the pulled pork so the meal was not a complete failure, it should be noted the meats are not cooked on site, but rather boiled in bags to heat them up, sides are different than usual, definitely more southern driven so pick carefully, free ice cream for dessert is an up side, best I can offer is 2 stars and and a caution of buyer beware, you can and will find a lot better somewhere else.
Everything but the service, ribs, and sauce was decent. Started off with having to correct our order twice, then having the kid act like we were lying about what we ordered. Next, the sauce was IMHO horrible, original, and spicy both. Finally, my wife's ribs were dry and chewy. The brisket, jalapeño kielbasa, and sides were very good and the only reason I gave 3 stars. Ultimately, I feel it's way overpriced for the quality of service and food. We will not be back.
We ordered for a business. The order came without utensils or napkins. None of the sandwiches were labeled so each had to be opened to determine whose it was. The ribs had no meat on two of the three pcs delivered. An order of fries was missing. The bag was messy and greasy. The manager didn't seem to care when I called to inform him. As far as taste, the food was good. Parking: Don't know. It was delivered
OK, so I see the guy complaining about boil bags. While fresh is best it's hard to have the consistency that Dickey's does especially across the wide spectrum of altitudes and climates they operate in. Being from the South I haven't figured out how to get my recipes right in the 4 years I've lived in Wyoming. That said, I usually freeze my leftovers of whatever I've cooked and used the exact same method to reheat them months later. This doesn't detract from the taste. The pulled pork, pork ends, and jalepeno sausage are fantastic. The Mac and the jalepeno beans were great as well. The spicy Texas sauce is probably the best. Only reason they don't get a 5 from me is that I ordered my meal for delivery, to a hotel, and I didn't even get a napkin. No forks, no nothing. How am I supposed to even eat this?
Dickies BBQ is good food but I have noticed the staff has gone downhill. One in particular is the employee by the name of Tyson G. When I called to speak to his manager due to an issue I had and was told to call about Tyson told me to stop calling and immediately hung up on me. As an employee of Dickies not only is that rude but also very unprofessional. The employee lies about receiving food from delivery drivers as well. So if you ever need to speak to Travis the Manager of Dickies that I would highly suggest that you don't ask Tyson for the manager of he is the reason you have to ask for one. The restaurant also has cockroaches and I took pictures. My wife and I haven't been back since we saw the cockroach. I have attached a picture showing it.
We stopped in to pick up some lunch and there was an incredibly rude family in line ahead of us. The employees handled everything with a smile and patience. Great food too!
Other then having to wait in line for online orders.. which I understand this time of year. The employees work hard! And are in great spirits. Its was a smooth experience!
As a displaced Texan, it's hard to find decent pit-style barbeque the further north you go. Dickey's is a fast casual chain that doesn't disappoint though. The manager and staff are friendly, and provide a warm dining experience. I highly recommend the 2 meat plate with brisket and spicy cheddar sausage, but the burnt ends are great too!
The brisket is delicious. I came in super close to closing time and Logan was great. I highly recommend coming here but I would suggest you not wait till last minute.
One of the best locations of this franchise I've visited. Friendly people and good food is a good combination
