DICK'S Sporting Goods

I brought my new figure skates to get sharpened here and not only did it take the kid 5 minutes to unlock the door (not kidding), but after i got them home i realized there were black marks all over both boots, the laces, and even inside the boots! There were scratches all over the left blade and the paint was scratched off almost every one of the metal pieces that tightens the lace.... very upset, should have opened them at the store. It took me forever to clean both boots, but that's not even what i'm upset about. There were fingerprints all over it like he didn't even try to clean them up... he was just a kid but i mean come on man.

Benji has the worst customer service! I just left the Dick’s Sporting Goods in Rockford extremely disappointed with the customer service I experienced. I walked in knowing what I wanted and had expected to buy the PowerBlock Sport 50lbs. However, since I’ve never handled the equipment before, I expected a “knowledgeable professional” to explain how to use it. The words that came out of Benji’s mouth after asking him to show me how to use it were “I’ve never had to explain to anyone how to use this” and huffed at the fact that I asked him to explain it to me. I couldn’t believe his disrespectful demeanor. I really wanted to buy that peice of equipment, but I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Every time I go to Dick's I tell the cashier that I want the receipt emailed to me and today was no exception. I make sure I get a response from the cashier after I indicate the emailed receipt. Nearly every time the cashier pushes the button which does not allow the receipt to be emailed to me. I experienced the same headache today, but this time the cashier tried to tell me that I must have pushed a wrong button. Needless to say, that rubbed me the wrong way . I am writing this review while I am still hot. However, usually the service is good, the prices are appropriate, and the quality of the merchandise is good. I am just bent about the cashiers not allowing the receipt to be emailed to me and the particular cashier today trying to say I did something wrong.
