Will never go back here. The employee I dealt with was rude! I was given an amount on the phone, then she tried to charge me more. And then in front of me increased the amount another $20. I have heard this place was bad for trying to increase prices but only went here because there was no space anywhere else. I will NEVER go back here.

Called in the morning asking if I needed an appointment. The woman said no, so I was happy with that. Told her my car was semi synthetic and she said the 5w 30 is $45 for an oil change. Take my lunch at 1:05, eat it and get there at 1:25. They say they have a service tech available right then so I thought 20-30 mins max. I checked my service history and it's a 5w 20 but I thought all the same because it's still semi synthetic. So I wait until 2:10 and let them know that I'm on lunch. Just after 2:20 my car's done. The cost came to just under $75. They told me it's cause mine is full synthetic. I corrected them. They then said it was because I didn't ask for their batch oil. Weird I thought I just had to ask for oil, not the cheap version of mine. Guess I should have asked for the quick service too and not the slow expensive one. Wouldn't recommend for the reasons previously stated. $10 off would have even swayed me, since the prices were poorly presented but no alternatives or choices in the matter were offered. So I'm late back at work with $20 more spent than I thought it'd costs. Also they said my next service was 5k from now. My engine and oil are actually good for 8k so they low balled that too

I am leary of lots of auto shops/places from being taken advantage of in the past, but these guys were awesome. The owner went out of his way to help me and the price was really reasonable. I would definitely recommend them.

I would just like to say I would highly recommend doing business with these guys. My daughter is a student in Guelph, and suddenly needed new brakes. I didn’t want her to make the 2 hour drive home but wondered how to get the brakes fixed in a larger city without being taken advantage of. I did some online researching and discovered Dettmer Tire and Auto Centre. I called them on a Saturday and explained the situation. Arrangements were made for Monday morning and the car was ready by the end of the business day. They even provided transportation to and from the school, so my daughter could attend classes. Prices were very reasonable with quality workmanship and excellent customer service. I can honestly say they are top notch!!
