Adorable grocery with lots of products. There is a wonderful ready to eat section when you are in a rush. Lots of selection for a smaller store. He produce is always attractive and you can find fresh bread. The meat department was a good selection but it is not first place to go for steak or fish. They have nice bouquets of flowers at an affordable price. You can buy wine in store. It's accessible to mobility impaired persons with parking, ramps, automated doors, and an electronic cart. You can also ask for assistance at the first cash.

I don't shop much at Independent, because I find it pricey compared to other supermarkets, but today, I planned my route because I have so much to do, being two days before Christmas. Well what to my surprise, was 1 quart of eggnog for $3.29!!! My jaw dropped, how could you even think people will pay this. I don't usually mind paying a little more, to save me going to another store, but this is absolutely ridiculous. You just confirmed why I don't shop there. .......found it for $1.99, down the road. You are going to be stuck with a heck of a load that you will have to drastically reduce if you want to sell it.

Great for a smaller grocery store that has all the basics plus a small aisle for international food and spices. Bakery and hot food counters are always well stocked. Meat is often on sale and they generally have enough for all customers before running out of an on sale item.

I hate going to this store because of the cashiers, they are miserable especially the staff that have been there years. Would it kill them to smile and be pleasant? I spoke to the manager about this and no wonder the staff have a bad attitude, the manager was down right rude and arrogant. I go only in emergencies now. I hope the newer, younger cashiers don't end up miserable over time.

Clean store, good selection. The only complaint i have is they seem to often run out of items on special by Monday.
