We had a weekend lunch special. All you can eat is a vegetarian meal. The service and food were excellent. This is a traditional south Indian lunch experience. They serve on banana leaves. The only issue is you are allowed one-hour sitting since they want to serve as many people as possible. I must say, the service was speedy. Overall it was a good experience. Vegetarian options: It's a pure vegetarian restaurant. Parking: Parking is available in the plaza.

I'm surprised we haven't seen this yet in Toronto. It was a super unique experience! Very close to something you'd find in India itself. The food was amazing but what I appreciated more than that was how professionally everything was being run. The service was very systematic and fast, the staff were nice and courteous, my family enjoyed every minute we spent here.

Food is delicious. Hats off to the kitchen for preparing such yummy flavours. I would definitely have given this place a 5 rating based on food rating. But it’s not just food that matters, SERVICE matters too. Horrific and chaotic service I wouldn’t say the entire crew but one person specifically did spoil the overall experience for us. Hope the management works on this.

We have enjoyed authentic South Indian meals at their Scarborough location on several occasions and have never been disappointed! Uniquely, I want to highlight that they did a spectacular job catering a wedding event more than 200 km from the GTA. The food quality was superb, the logistics were meticulously planned, and the service on the day was flawless. They were well priced, adaptable with respect to menu and other requirements, and came well prepared to execute a fantastic service. I give them the highest recommendation! Thank you, Desi Mane team! Delicious South Indian food. Came here on a Saturday for their all you can eat lunch. The staff was very attentive and always made sure to get our order in. I had so many of their fresh donuts dipped in all dishes. I am not sure of the names of the dishes but they were able to understand what I wanted. Also the fried okras are soooo yummy. Great experience

This is my first visit to Desi mane, still waiting to have their vazha elai lunch. I am a great fan of Sangeetha's in chennai. The food was quickly served and in good quantities. the service was good and the waiting was around 30mins. Food was very good especially thier sambar. I would give a 5star for their sambar. Chutneys were cold and below par. baby corn was crispy and excellent. podi idly was extraordinary but would have been great if the quantity was a bit more. Dosas were awesome and no complaints. Would be glad if they include some dessert options like they do in Chennai daily special like elai adai etc.. To end with a wonderful restaurant and will visit again.

A really good food in Scarborough Good: The food was awesome. Saambar is one of the best I could say in Canada, so far. Dosa was also very much, what you would like to eat. Staff are very good and listen to the customers patiently Could be improved: Staff are mixing up the orders Miss communication is there, which is affecting customers. The space is under utilized as far as ambiance is concerned. You will be happy to be there for sure

Been long since I had Tamil style veg meal. Desi Mane is easily one of the best places in GTA. And am I glad that I drove all the way to this gem of a place to enjoy Saturday lunch. The taste is very authentic, right from the Kara Kozhumbu to Sambar. And the kids working there are really taking good care of the customers. Just make sure you have the reservations. Else it is tough to get a table.

Excellent and super delicious food with an amazing friendly and approachable staff members. The south Indian veg cuisine will definitely remind you to have food in India. The collection of Dosas is extraordinary and so is the taste. Definitely try the rasmalai for dessert and the masala chai post lunch/dinner. If you want to taste something else apart from dosa, paratha kurma would be the best choice. The sides including chutneys sambars raita and Kurma are refilled unlimited times that's the best part. I would highly recommend this place located in Scarborough with ample parking space.

Well, Sangeetha is one of the big names in South Indian dining. My family used to visit this place often. Desi Mane a franchise of Sangeetha? is not any different. I loved the taste. The same authentic South Indian. The environment was nice and the service was lightning quick. They got everything with in seconds. The chutneys seemed to be fresh. I loved it. 100% recommend for a great South Indian experience. The restaurant is open to customize dishes accordingly to your taste. The panner 65 was soft and was delicious. Ghee podi dosa could be a little less dry.
