We had a great sort of early hike on a very hot day. A good 2/3 was shaded well. Lots of great water views. Highly recommend it while in Bend
What a superb trail! These follow the river and take you through the forest. What an excellent place to explore and get outside. Never anything too strenuous or technical. Great for hiking, running, or biking.

Great trail, pet friendly with dog bags and trash cans at the beginning. Follows the river so minor elevation changes. If you go early in the morning, the first half will be in the sun and the second half will be in the shade when going counterclockwise.
It wasn’t what I expected but it was So Beautiful! So glad I got to experience it on such a nice day with a nice breeze. Amazing views. I went early so it wasn’t too busy but got busier as the day went on.
