Dean was outstanding to deal with and offered great customer service when we needed to reschedule our rental appointment or had questions. The suit looked great and Dean provided great advice when picking the suit. He even retrieved some items for us that were forgotten in the suit pockets when we returned it!

Wasnt gong to leave this one star review but Dean went over and above to push me to this point. The suit fitting experience in was not great, especially considering I only get married once, but maybe Dean knows he isn’t going to get repeat business. I had a pocket square in my suit, it fell out of my pocket before I walked down the aisle and it was missing. All the clothing was returned in the same condition I received it, minus the pocket square. If I had the pocket square, it would have been returned unfortunately I do not. Dean then threatened to send me to collections if I don’t pay, I laughed in his face as my line of work is in finance, I’m not that stupid Dean. Instead of threatening a collection you can’t enforce maybe you should find a new approach. If your getting married and you want someone to go over and above to ruin your experience, this is your place! Thanks Dean! You earned this 1 star review, this review would never have been posted until your ignorant phone call. We all have bad days, but seems like every day is a bad one for Dean

We rented suits for our wedding last weekend and had so many issues. Firstly they sent the wrong persons suit here instead of Calgary. None of the 4 suits fit the guys remotely close. They all received bow ties instead of ties. At the reception 2/4 pairs of pants completely ripped open and basically disintegrated my husband and the groom luckily had a pair of shorts he could put on… at our wedding. The communication was awful except for one guy at the company who actually attempted to help us and not just ignore us

Had an appointment here for my nephew to try on tuxedos for his grade 12 grad. The sales guyI think his name was Dean was running a bit behind so we started looking at the rentals and different styles. Once we chose some my nephew started trying them on. Dean was great at adjusting and making sure everything fit how it’s supposed to. My sister and I asked a lot of questions and he never made us feel like we were being annoying. Other customers came in and even though he was running behind he didn’t rush us or make us feel like we had a time limit. My sister had been to another suit place and she said this experience was 100% better. I would recommend Derks to anyone looking for rentals.

Really, really poor service. The guy that works there is snarky and rude to customers and should be let go. When I was checking one tux for stains, after them giving me a stained jacket on the first attempt, the guy there said "this is a rental" as if it's expected to be stained. Absurd! I rented two of their most expensive tuxedoes, both were worn out and frayed. I would steer away from this low-budget place. Their only saving grace was a really nice girl named Shanon, she was very helpful and friendly.

We needed a rush suite for a wedding. They had no suites available to purchase in the size we needed so we opted to rent. We did the fitting and she took all the measurements. When we had our second fitting two days before the wedding, the pants were about 3 sizes too big. So we had to come back the next to get the suite. The second time the pants were short and looked like flood pants. The solution by the worker was “just don’t wear suspenders”. Wasn’t impressed that they charge a rush fee and then screw up several times and then expect that to be okay. Rush fees are acceptable if the order is completed properly. If it wasn’t such short notice I would have went elsewhere for the suite after the second fitting and got my money back.

Worst place to go for a suit the older gentleman who's balding on the top seems ignorant and racist. They didn't have my sons size in store ans tried re booking us at sherwood park and charging extra to do so.meanwhile we said no and called sherwood park location ourselves and booked our own appointment with no extra fees. Rip off west end location

Dean helped me over the phone and was fantastic! Very professional and courteous. He made the experience enjoyable and answered all questions with confidence and good humour. He even called me back when he said he would! I'd definitely recommend Dean at the west location!

The guy working there was very rude to my pregnant wife when she was picking up my suit. They are also not open on Sunday which was frustrating as I couldn't drop my suit off after a wedding. As I live out of town I had to pay $20 a day due to the fact that I didn't want to take a day off during the week to make a run into the city.
