Dentalworks -Novi Twelve Oaks

There was a very bad experience today. Here's what I went through: The first day I went for a general checkup, they told me I have 'Periodontal disease'. Later it seemed that half of the patients I saw there were treated for this disease with a laser technique which is not covered under any insurance. Anyways I just told them to give only the treatment which is covered under my insurance. So they gave me a treatment option without lasers which would still work. On my next appointment they told due to insurance criteria only half of my teeth would be treated and next half can be done on the very next day(yet another appointment and two times my co-pay). I said Okay and I was given an appointment for the very next day 5:15pm(for the remaining half of my mouth). I cancel my evening class and get out from job a little early and reach their clinic(which is at Twelve Oaks Mall, Novi, MI) by 5:10pm and I don't see anyone in their clinic. Clinic was wide open, fans running, lights are all on but no one seem to be there to attend to me. I checked the time and understood they close at 6pm. I gave them a phone call and no ones answering, left a voice message right away. Then I waited till 5:45pm(Over 30 minutes) and still no-one shows up. I called them again and left another voice message since no one was answering the phone. After wasting around 45 minutes I left home. Got a little frustrated because my half of mouth remains untreated and god knows when am I going to get another appointment(or for the time being at least a consolidation call..) . Didn't wanna be rude but this is what happened. I didn't like the Doctor's(may be the senior Dentist) behaviour and attitude which I noticed in my first appointment anyway. She seemed to be all-red in face(may be an allergy and thereby she might be easily frustrated. I don't blame her anyways). But the nurses(or Junior Dentists) were all cool and friendly.

I'm not kidding- don't go anywhere else for dentistry. As a person with unusually high anxiety regarding ANYTHING doctor-related, Dr.Rice and her staff are REMARKABLE. They have educated me on how to handle my own personal oral hygiene requirements, rebuilt my confidence in my own smile, and make me feel like I'm surrounded by family friends when I'm there. They work with you on what makes you most comfortable and are so understanding and accommodating. My experience with Dr.Rice and all the girls either assisting her or up at the desk has been indescribable, and I'll never go anywhere else. I highly recommend her to all friends, family, and co-workers. Don't skip on this one, GO SEE THIS DENTIST OFFICE.

Dr.Rice is absolutely wonderful. After not seeing a dentist for 10 years I am so glad I found her. She is very comforting and explains everything she is doing as she is doing it. Everyone at the Novi location is so welcoming and friendly. My whole family sees Dr.Rice now and couldn't be happier.

They are willing to work with you if you have any financial hardships. I recommend this place to anyone! Great customer service and very professional.

Where do I begin? Well, my visit to another dentist, Howell Family Dentist, was unpleasant and overwhelming for me. As a result, I immediately called DentalWorks of Novi and to my delight I spoke with Laura. She patiently listened to my problem and politely reassured me that Dr. Rice would answer all of my questions. Today I met with Dr. Rice at DentalWorks-Novi and the meeting was educational and efficient. I now have a much better plan in place with help from EVERYONE. All in all, I will recommend this office to family and friends. Respectfully, Scott
