Numerous trips here have shown them becoming very stingy on their portions of late. Prices are high and you will only receive 3/4 of a regular Denny's portion. I waited over 40 minutes for a salmon skillet and there was so little on the plate that the skillet showed through in many places. The customer beside me was complaining about the miserable portions on his pot roast and it was justified. A few days later I got a burger and fries to go and the portion of fries was an insult for the $14 I paid. Get it together then Denny's Napanee! You are at a prime location in a wonderful truck stop. Stop ripping off your "captive" customers just because you can. It's like you are charging us foreign exchange rate both at the till and on the plate!

Creamers were sour. Had to replace 3 coffees. Silverware was filthy. Portions were small and 2 out of three meals were cold. Server was great hence the 2 stars.

So So service , could be better. Had to ask for more coffee as waitress was busy talking to each other.

Service was good, we were seated right away and the food didn't take long to come out. All the food was good, no complaints.

My first time at a Denny's. We were a party of six (4 adults and two children). My SiL and her hubby ordered the Slamburger and Breakfast Poutine (respectively) and were both happy with their meals. My husband ordered the Salted Caramel Banana Cream Pancakes meal. Flacor-wise he loved it but feom the taste I had it tasted like regular caramel instead of salted, and I thought the hashbrowns were a bit under-cooked. I ordered the Avocado Chicken Ceasar salad. The avocado and chicken portions were much smaller than expected, especially compared to the menu photo (which indicated about half an avocado; I received about a fifth of an acocado). The bacon portion was perfect though. Personally I would request going a bit lighter on the dressing, but I think most people would be happy with the amount that was served. In terms of the condition of the restraunt, the only problem was that the first wine glass I received was dirty, but the staff was very good about replacing it. The menus are a bit out of date (they don't reflect calorie information yet) but some of the listed items gave ballpark figures. For those who like or need to pay attention to nutrition info, it is available and easy to locate on their website. Otherwise the restraunt appeared clean and well-maintained. Our server was Shae, and she was delightful. She answered any questions we had, interacted well with the kids, and was attentive to orders. Very personable and someone I would be very happy to see again in future visits.
