Great place for Asian food. If you don't know what BBQ here is good Choice !because they BBQ is the best! have some great varieties of fried rice and noodles. And their BBQs and other side dishes are quite tasty. Another great thing is the doors quantity. Three proportions are generous enough for 2. So you can just order one side or rice for 2 person. Prices are okay and considering this is China town you can say prices are cheap.
I’m not super sure how it’s rated so high. The bbq chicken was good, but the roasted pork had a briny smell and was dry. The staff were friendly. However the whole restaurant seemed really run down and the tables are oily.
Must try! This place is amazing. Stopped by for lunch on a whim and was soo pleasantly surprised. The dim sum was the best I have ever had and the portions were very generous. The staff was very kind and complimentary. Service was great and food was amazing. I will be coming back
The food itself taste good. However maybe it’s because I arrived during staff meal time, service is very slow even though the place is not busy at all at 4pm . Waited too long to be seated and given a menu. The place is also uncomfortably hot for a summer day.
Wowow, this low key joint definitely lives up to the name because it is truly delicious. Me and my girlfriend ordered one plate to share because the portions were quite generous. The chasiu was flavourful with the blend of spices and sweetness coming through, the roasted pork was pretty on point, and the soy chicken had me begging for more . I’m already excited to go back and try their baked goods next time.
I grew up eating dim sum with my family and I decided to go to delicieux meimei cause I was missing my family at home and I wanted a taste of my childhood. The food was so delicious and the service was wonderful. All the servers and cooks were so sweet and helpful. We ordered the siu mai, crispy pork, and beef stir fried noodles. All the dishes came out promptly and tasted so good. We also tried sweet sesame balls and salty deep fried meatballs that were fresh out of the fryer. Both were delicious but the salty deep fried meatballs were other worldly. Those meatballs are a dim sum classic and I’ve had many of those in my lifetime at a variety of different places that I think the fried meatballs here may take the brown for the best I’ve ever tried. You will not be disappointed here if you want a place to eat that will feed your soul and you heart then this is the place. 10/10 I will be coming here regularly.
Such a delicious hole in the wall place that can't be missed! Service was prompt, and friendly. They gave suggestions on what we could get because we wanted the wonton soup as well as their BBQ. They said we could add it on top of the wonton soup! Prices are really cheap too! An authentic cha chaan teng.
Love love LOVE this place. We were their first customers of the day, and it was fun watching the regulars stroll in to pick up their favorites and catch up on the neighborhood gossip. The you tiao IYKYK and soy milk were so good - it’s hard to find a place that makes their own you tiao fresh and from scratch! Very nice service that made our day too.
My boyfriend and I went to eat at Delicieux Mei Mei yesterday and we took the bbq duck and porc with the ginger and scallions sauces…. We wanted some extra sauce because we finish the first one… so when we were already half done with the second sauce we found a full COCKROACH in it ! I am shocked and so disgusted still today I’ve never experienced anything like this I’ve seen hair in food before but a full cockroach it’s unbelievable.
Great place! very friendly staff and food was delicious! We were there pretty late on Saturday night and the restaurant was empty compare to the other ones around. We had some doubts if it was good but decided to stay, because everyone were already hungry. The food was very tasty and good size portions. I would definitely return there when we go to Montreal again. Parking: There is no parking on that street, we parked not far, on the parking lot, paid $20
