Deer Lake Regional Airport

Very cute little airport. The Information Desk has every pamphlet you'll need for anything you'd like to do. The staff is great, but there isn't much to do while you wait for your flight...keep in mind it's a small airport! :)

Luggage arrived quickly. There is a huge information desk with friendly staff. Got a great map and booklet with every kind of information about Newfoundland. 6+ racks of brochures and pamphlets. Shuttle service to area hotels runs 24 hours.

For those of us tired of large airports with confusing layouts and long walks to gates, this airport is joy to fly in and out of (during the warmer months anyway). Helpful staff. Easy car rental (lot is right outside the door). So-So coffee.

This is my preferred airport when going home to nfld. The staff are helpful and it's not too big but has everything you need at an airport

All of the seats are horribly uncomfortable and declined back too far. Also not enough food/drink available post-security.
