Stephenville Airport, and Stephenville for that matter, were all part of the United States Air Force base which is why many of the streets are named after States and my mom use to teach there when she worked for the Air Force. A interesting place to visit - the beach has painted rocks for example - and full of memories for my mom.
It was once an United State Air force base, now its a local airport. Everyone from Elvis, the Queen, US Presidents and Canadian Prime Ministers have flown through here.
I love this airport too bad it has some rocky waters threatening to close on and off for years.
I'm being told that the airport was sold to a unknown buyer, I am formally asking who bought this airport?nMy tax dollars paid for this airport, now I'd like to know who bought it and for how much???
Why is there a need for this airport? Seems like it should be closed down where we have such a large govt deficit and over-run hospitals
