Debbie's Floral Shoppe

I ordered my wedding flowers from Debbie's Floral Shoppe. The price was very reasonable and Nell was great to work with. She understood what I was looking for with colors and flowers. My flowers were just gorgeous and I will continue to purchase flowers from Debbie's.

We loved working with Nell, She listened to what we wanted, shared photos and showed samples to make it just what we wanted. She gave us advice and we ended up with simply elegant flowers. From the boutonnières, the corsages, the flower girls headpieces, rose petals for their baskets, the bridesmaids bouquets to my beautiful bouquet and the flowers for my centerpieces everything was perfect. Nell was great to work with and I highly recommend her.

Worst florist experience. Nell, at Debbies Floral, did every single thing I said not to do and did NOTHING I asked for. Myself and my mother tried for months (calling and emailing) to setup a second appointment and get a practice arrangement (we made it VERY clear that we had no problem paying for this). Once I finally got the second appointment I reiterated that I was worried the "hint" of raspberry colored flowers would look red, that I wanted whimsical arrangements. My bouquet, my mother’s and groom mother’s, as well as the groom were supposed to have Peonies (which I expressed multiple times that I was aware they are more expensive and I would pay extra to get them). I also said at both meetings that I did not want any colored flowers in my bouquet. There was not one peony…ANYWHERE. My bouquet was 6 large bright red roses with small white flowers around them. All of the table arrangements had bright red carnations and roses (both types and color I specifically said I did not want). I did not receive the "bouquet toss" arrangement that she said was included. The groomsmen, FOB and ushers had GIANT (way too large for a boutonniere) bright red roses. I kept my wedding and wedding colors neutral because the flowers were supposed to be the main focus. I was SO excited and then immediately mortified at what I saw. After I broke-down and my mother went to talk to Nell she was meet with a horrible attitude. Nell lied to my mother and took no ownership of the terrible mistakes she made. I gave Nell a dozen pictures of arrangements I liked, none of my flowers even slightly resembled them. To say the flowers ruined what is supposed to be the best day isn’t an exaggeration. I wasn’t able to have my bouquet or the bridesmaid bouquets in the pictures before the ceremony.

I called earlier today and asked for an arrangement that I could pick up in about an hour. We agreed on the style of flowers and the price. A few minutes later I was called and asked if she could switch to something else that would be nicer for the same price. I said yes, of course and picked up the arrangement soon after. They were beautiful!! I was so touched that she would create something so much nicer for the same price. I really appreciated it and they were beautiful! I will definitely use their services again!
