Days Inn Brantford

The days inn in brantford in conveniently located just off the 403. Where this hotel lacks some upgrades in makes up in service. I have stayed here twice and both times the same wonderful lady went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. We had a room with a pull out sofa. We asked for a room with two beds. She immediately contacted a single traveler booked in a two bed room and see if a switch was possible. She solved our problem in 5 minutes. So impressed and my daughter was happy with the upgrade. Breakfast in the morning is also a bonus.

Staff is friendly, rooms were nice, the value for what you pay was pretty good, the breakfast has room to improve

The bedroom suite was fantastic. The bathroom is well maintained, and the room is kept clean. My only concern is that our room did not have a thermostat, and we ended up spending our time figuring out their heating system. It took us quite a while to find the ideal room temperature.

As a former employee i can tell you this isnt a great place to work or stay. The rooms are subpar the staff works very hard while treated very poorly. There is not enough towels to provide guests, fitness centre has been closed for months upon months. The management is lacking any real motivation to help make changes if it means any work needs to be done. The dark hallways and dirty walls and are covered in greasy finger prints and the carpet is so dusty and dirty it produces dirt as you walk down the halls. There attempt to fix the walls which was to repainting. Some of the rooms have had the carpet removed in a attempt to create a more updated look which produces more dust and theres no adiquate time given to properly clean. The management barks orders and makes the staff feel like slaves that are not good enough. I personally believe this place is only a step up from the Sheraton motel. And would recomend going elsewhere the adimenties listed are provided.

Front desk is always friendly. Rooms are decent for a busy hotel.
