We had such a wonderful experience hosting our event here! When our original venue became unavailable due to a flood, we were left scrambling to find a new location and get everything organized very quickly.nnNatasha, the event coordinator, was incredible...she arranged everything we needed in just a few days. She responded to emails promptly and answered all our questions, from rental details for napkins and plates to the setup.nnA huge thank-you to Natasha and the entire Best Western team for making it all come together so smoothly!
My spouse and I went for a pow wow, sleep in room 267 I believed. 2 double beds with a patio, nice room. Queens are better than double. The beds were kinda hard to sleep in, the beds need to be updated to softer material. The two nights were great anyway, the rugs should be removed in my opinion. The rugs should be replaced with durable vinyl planks or tile. There was an old banana miss, I think it's been there months under the bed. It was dry, hard, rotten, and I took it in the trash. My spouse and I had a nice time at the hotel, and the restaurant was in the hotel which was a bonus. Pet friendly also, trash was outside the hotel for pets. I will be sleeping again in the hotel next year when the events start again. Hopefully they will update the rugs for more durable material, it would benefit the hotel when it's pet friendly. It will make it easier for the cleaning staff.
Stayed a night. The hotel was clean outside and inside with friendly staff. The room was spacious and had the basics. Breakfast was simple but tasty. The only complaint was that the room had a bad smell. I think it's from the carpet. Room service sprayed air freshener right away after calling.nnNote to management: Please replace carpets with laminate or wood flooring. It's easy to clean and maintain.
Location was ok. Room was clean but the pullout bed was a hot mess . It was very uncomfortable and the paper thin mattress was a joke. Also it’s owned by new owners that refuse to give back my 100.00 dollars deposit. I stayed there Aug 23 -24 and they insisted the deposit was given to me on check out and to ask my bank. My bank is not withholding any monies from me. And will be now investigating Best Western on where my money went. This is Sept 7 and I still have not received my 100.00 deposit. Best Western is going down hill Canada. Beware of the new owners.
Great for sports teams and group gatherings. Staff always willing to help and accommodate request. Pool is large enough to keep teams occupied and front desk staff always lending a hand when needed.nThe restaurant on the other hand has pushy staff and make you feel uncomfortable. The watch and feel like to always have someone over your shoulder. Food was alright nothing great and they have changed from actual plates to plastic knives and forks and paper plates. Juice is always waterdown just to show the colour but no taste and when needed assistance always a push.
