Best Western Brantford Hotel and Conference Centre

We will be back! Very nice perks that comes with being a member. We really appreciated being upgraded to a suite in a designated quiet sector of this hotel . One of us could stay up and curl up on the living room couch, and close a door to the bedroom. The King mattress was very comfortable and we slept well. Comfortable temperature , a thermostat that actually works! No noisy blowing heating system clunking on and off. Complimentary breakfast offered was more than ample. Hot or cold cereal, fresh baking, waffles, all kinds of fruit, buffet hot food. I opted for a custom made omelet on site. Like being on a cruise ship. I have always preferred Best Western. 4+ Stars because I prefer glass and mugs, rather than paper & plastic cups for use. And because they only have 3 pet friendly rooms -all booked, couldn't bring Charlie with us.

Fantastic value for money! It was a last-minute booking so I don't know if the rate I paid was as low as I might have received had a been looking for a deal, but I thought it was very reasonable. When we saw the hotel and amenities, I was very pleased. We even received a free hot buffet breakfast! I wasn't expecting that at all. Room was clean. Service was good. Absolutely no complaints. I've traveled a lot and stayed in many hotels - usually more expensive ones - and frankly this hotel was just as comfortable as any other! While it doesn't have the fancy lobby with massive chandeliers and polished oak banisters, It's updated, modern and clean. I would definitely stay there again.

Went for The Ring bridal shower. The hotel seems nice enough, but the bathroom on the main floor had an odd scent to it... nothing I could place, just odd. Other women commented on it as well. The concierge wasn't very noticeable, but there was a large table set up that was easily seen, and the ladies there directed people as needed (they were part of the bridal show). Generally speaking, the hotel seemed clean, not terribly noisy (multiple events were going on, all on the main floor). Parking for the event was free but I don't know about general stays. The hotel offers wedding discounts if the bridal party stays, and room/suite discounts if multiple people stay there for a wedding.

The hotel looked great and the lobby was very modern. The room had minor upgrades but the bathroom needs work. Also the free breakfast is a great bonus, however the Togo option should be more than a granola bar and apple, considering if you can sit down you get a buffet!

Not impressed with this hotel. We stayed here for 3 nights with a group of 11 in our wing. This was during a dance competition where we were gone each day for the full day. Somehow all our friends rooms had maid service and ours for 2 of the days received no maid service. No beds made, no towels, no vacuuming. I called to see if we could get someone to come refresh the room and they said yes. 20 mins later they brought us 2 towels. There was no refreshing of the room. Upon checkout I highlighted this and was told the hotel was very sorry and that the manager would call me. I received no such call. I typically do not write reviews but this needed one. I will not visit this hotel again.
