Days Inn Bismarck

The staff that the Day's Inn in Bismarck North Dakota was very personable professional and polite. It was such a joy to be there although we only plan to stay one night we stayed to and everyone was wonderful to us even my service dog. A great hotel off the freeway. They were gracious with me even though I had a dog but didn't book a pet room...the man at the front desk couldn't be nicer. The room was clean and spacious. You can't beat it for the price.

The bathroom smelled musty. The fridge door was open when we got there, and it was hard to close it. The hotel lobby smelled like syrup and old smoke. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

There is no elevator. So if you get a room on the second floor you have to take all your luggage up stairs. We stayed one night, the morning we left the breakfast cook was complaining the whole time we were having breakfast and preparing to leave the place. The pool was over chlorinated to the point it caused minor chemical burns on my kids.

The rooms were very clean and they had a made to order breakfast along with other self serve items. The breakfast was really good! I was a little disappointed with the comfort in the room. The bed and blankets weren't cozy. They had a bunch of "how you can help the environment" pictures posted in the rooms (saving towels, etc), but then gave breakfast on Styrofoam plates with plastic cutlery. A tad disappointing.
