This was one of my first times dinning in Toronto as I've only been to the city once or twice before. The location is different, the restaurant is tucked away so the outdoor patio is quiet as there isn't pedestrian traffic. The ambience is fabulous, as was our waitress. She explained the sharable menu so we were able to order just the right amount if food, no leftovers. I loved all the drinks, especially the cosmopolitan. Food overall was great, the noodles were my favorite. We were here celebrating my cousin's birthday so the waitress brought out dessert with a sparkler, very cute touch. This place was recommended to us by a friend, planning to recommend it to my friends now!
I went here to celebrate my graduation a couple days ago and ordered a bunch of food. The food tasted and looked great, but the portions were very small and pricey. If we didn’t order the amount of food we did, I don’t think we would of been full. Otherwise, it’s a nice place and great services. Wish they had some speakers on the patio to listen to some music
Great atmosphere and really friendly staff! “Dim sum and chill” was great but I find the price isn’t worth it. $10 for 4 soup dumplings that were small, etc. Although, it was a great experience. I will definitely come back for the great service, atmosphere, and possibly the karaoke bar next time.
Great place to go out with a group of friends. I went with my co workers here after work and it was amazing. The drinks and food were good. We ordered all the small sharing plates , noodles , Peking duck and cucumber salad . The MVP was the cucumber salad for me , really refreshing and pickled very well. I have a severe nut allergy as well , and the staff were so accommodating and let me know what to avoid. Overall good staff and had a good night out.
The food and cocktails were okay. We ordered the angry chicken which was probably the best thing we tried. Definitely does leave your tongue numb but not enough for you to hesitate for seconds. The fried noodles were just too oily. The half Peking duck was nice however I found the pieces of meat to be too thick. The cocktails were decent. I liked the Shanghai iced tea over the red dragon. Overall service and ambiance made up for some of the subpar menu items. I would go back however to try their other offerings.
I loved the atmosphere here. It was very nicely decorated. I went during their happy hour with drinks and dim sum for $10. I didn’t get the dim sum but the drinks were really nice and great for photos. The food was pretty good. The prawns were amazing. I would love to come back to try more dishes! Overall, I loved my experience at Dasha!
Good ambience and the staff were really good in hospitality. Although wasn't convinced with food prices and it's taste. I ordered Don Don noodles, didn't really felt extra ordinary. Loved the twenty spirits cocktail with peach soju. The shrimps seem over priced from the featured menu.
So good. Pretty cool interior and mood lighting for dinner. Mongolian steak was killer good. Peking duck was good as well. Overall pricey but worth it for the experience. Fun cocktails such as the empress which forms a bubble.
I was recommended to come here for dinner with a client. I was very impressed with the atmosphere. Definitely very nice but over the top. We couldn't decide on the food selection and just went on the recommendation from the waiter. All items were delicious. Even the cocktails were well done.
First time at an Asian fusion restaurant in downtown Toronto, a bit hidden away and even confusing to find but adds to the experience when you find the entrance. The interior had a vintage Asian like feel to it. Possibly out of an Asian restaurant from the 60s or 70s i would say kinda feel to it. Service was great, I wasn't really sure what we wanted to order so our server just pointed out the popular items. We got all shareable items, I think that was the better way at the time. Wagyu surf n turf was amazing, millionaire rice was on there, and the holiday feature the tuna crispy rice was amazing! Awesome cocktails on the menu. I got the gin cocktail, it was delicious. Interestingly enough the place even offered private karaoke rooms upstairs. I thought that was a neat thing to offer to go with the asian theme! I would definitely recommend going here if you want to try something different in downtown Toronto!
