Fun creative dishes designed to be shared with friends over drinks. Between the 2 of us, we ordered 5 dishes and it was the perfect amount. I enjoyed everything, but didn't have any standout favourites. Service was excellent - our server recommended cocktails and the food came out staggered at a comfortable pace. We actually stayed there chatting well after our meal was finished and nobody made us feel rushed it was a quiet night, but still appreciated. I would definitely come back to try more from their menu.
I’ve been wanting to try Little Sister and finally got the opportunity to go with my sister! Great atmosphere with exceptional service. Bartender was constantly crafting amazing drinks and the main server was delivering terrific service and super friendly. The food is a bit on the pricier side but definitely worth it. Lots of great sharing plates and options! I personally had the sangria and little brother cocktail both 10/10. I can’t wait to return to try some more :
Simply amazing! Probably one of the best tapas in Toronto, hands-down. Michael's recommendations were spot-on and he was such a great server all night. Super friendly and you can tell he loves his job. First, the braised pork belly. It was so tender and succulent that I'm still drooling at the thought of it. The nasi goreng was also flavorful and surprisingly filling. The skewers were a tad expensive for the portion size, but they were yummy - get the tiger shrimps! Loved the creative cocktails they have here. Watching the bartender do his magic from our table was definitely a highlight of the night.
We love the ambience of the Yonge St location! We came here for dinner & the place was dimly lit but playing upbeat music so over all it was quite the mood. We tried so many amazing dishes & honestly there wasn’t one that we didn’t enjoy. Our favorite dishes had to be the mains- duck leg & shrimp curry the grilled white cabbage was also a must try! We love a delicious & good fusion restaurant & Little Sister certainly falls in that category
My girlfriend made a reservation here and we met for dinner and drinks. Our server Fran was amazing. We really enjoyed their service. The food and drinks were delicious. I highly recommend!
Wouldn't return/recommend. For anyone who has ever had South East Asian food outside of Toronto will be exceptionally disappointed by this place. High prices and extremely small portions, that the waiter describes as "share plates" is a joke. This is a tapas place. Nothing tasted bad don't get me wrong - but expect over $50+pp to leave remotely full, excluding drinks. Fried rice doesn't have the Smokey char you might expect. Seasoned well but nothing memorable. Chicken Ayam Panggang, tender. 1.5 chicken thighs $30 after tax tip. Skewers are tasty, recommend 2+ pp. Tacos - Beef Rendang is tasty. Takes AMEX.
This is my second time at Little Sister. The first time was a few years ago and I sat out on the patio and this time at the bar on the second floor. At first I was confused as to why there are pictures of doors and silhouettes of women's bodies but then realized the decor sort of pays homage to Amsterdam... Anyway, we ordered the lamb skewers with the pickled eggplant nice contrast, the flavor was all right and the fried chicken not as crispy as I expected but tasted good. From the traditional menu we had the pork belly with pineapple I'm not normally a big fan of pineapple in savoury dishes, but it was well made and tasted good - and a big plus for the fresh and ripe pineapple, which added a hint of acidity to the plate. As a main we had the nasi goreng good, but not outstanding, which we used to sop up the delicious sauce of the pork belly.
Very vibrant and upbeat place to eat fine north Sumatra style food. Friendly staff, fast served food. Unfortunately, 4 stars because there was no bread, milk, sugar to sooth the spicy taste. We took a desert which made it all good! Be advised, it's a spicy place.
It is absolute an amazing experience dining and drinking at Little Sisters. Our server Frank recommended all the best drinks and food for us and made our night unforgettable. Definitely will come back for the ambience, duck leg and old fashioned Paloma cocktail. Shout out for our server Frank and the bartender will recommend all my co workers and friends to visit this bar!
The war fries are amazing! Potatje oorlog are one of my favourite Dutch foods, and this place delivers a delicious Indonesian twist. I have a really sensitive palate, so even though I was assured things were not too spicy to handle, my mouth was sizzling . It was good though. Every dish was super delicious. Don’t miss out on the satay or the fried rice. And of course. War fries . Just fyi order about 2-3 dishes per person at least if you are coming for dinner :.
