Doctors have been doctors for 2 weeks it seems. In a room with doctor, they ask questions, input data to laptop, tell you to get this test, that test, see this specialist and that one. No one even looks at you. Just had a cancer removed from my back, have complained about it for over a year. They kept telling me nothing to worry about, finally told me to see a dermatologist to relieve my anxiety about it. First look they removed it, then called and told me after testing they had not gotten it all. After healing for two weeks, they cut a bigger hole. Then they told me no painkillers!!!!!! I cried for almost 25 hrs after the local wore off. Around 10 phone calls later the PCP finally called in a prescription. I have never been a drug abuser even though I have chronic pain, I manage it with heat and Tylenol. This pain is acute and not receding for me to sleep or relax. NO EXCUSE for this treatment!!! I am 65 years old and able to judge my situation pretty well. Demoted to a crying infant.
