Dartmouth-Hitchcock Women's Health Resource Center

The address they initially gave me was incorrect. So I ended up driving around for 30 minutes looking for a building that didn't exist, in the wrong area. For anyone looking for the center it is located on Court St. not Hanover St. In Lebanon...how a business does not know their own address is a bit concerning. Upon the second session I attempted to join in on, all I saw was a group of pregnant woman meandering around a room where they attempted to take their own blood pressure measurements using a machine unattended and waiting in a line to get belly measurements taken from a nurse for no other purpose than to record it for themselves. It seemed a bit of circus. Also being a mother to be that lives an alternative lifestyle I could immediately feel the judgments and discomforts dripping off the service staff upon my arrival, because I don't look like a blonde haired blue eyed soccer mom...the feelings were unwelcoming and uncomfortable. As a woman who was seeking education and guidance for her and her spouses first child I would say that my two attempts to use the women's resource center was nothing short of completely disappointing.
