I’ve been wanting to try Middle Eastern cuisine for a long time, and this place did not disappoint. A friend recommended it, saying it’s truly authentic—and they were right. Our server was incredibly patient and helpful, taking time to explain the menu and giving us space to decide without any pressure. After we placed our orders, he even suggested wine pairings that complemented our dishes perfectly. We ended up staying for about two hours, enjoying a warm and flavorful dinner. A wonderful dining experience from start to finish!
The food at Darna is absolutely wonderful. The hot oil is an excellent addition to every dish. Try the Darna Platter, the halloumi is so softly cooked. Just lovely!!!!
Delicious Middle Eastern food! Third time coming here. The sampler is an excellent way to try the various dips. The mixed platter has kebab, chicken and beef tenderloin which was delicious. We had the Jarjeer salad as well.
Loved every bite of all these Middle Eastern dishes that taste like home! The falafel are THE BEST in our city - grilled meats are marinated and cooked to perfection - the cauliflower dish is a must and the Knafeh is WOW!nStaff are very attentive and hospitable as is the chef intakes time to visit tables individually to check on his patrons- will definitely be back!nAtmosphere is very cozy and relaxing!
Had an amazing dinner here with friends tonight! Our meals were fantastic, top notch flavours and freshness. Sam, the chef, came out to say hello and sent out a spectacular free eggplant tower appetizer when he heard it was my birthday, and then later gave us a free dessert as well. Can’t say enough great things about our experience here, we will definitely be back. Thank you!!nEdit: this review was for the Roncesvalles location. We've been back several times since and the food and service remain consistently excellent.
