Dang Good Smokehouse & Bar-B-Que

Great atmosphere and amazing food! It's always more than I can eat! The shrimp bisque and the loaded salad a definitely a favorite of mine. I come here often. Definitely a must go to place!

Note: If you're from the South, this is a four star restaurant, but for Southern food in Wyoming, it's five for sure. Don't let the outside fool you. Give it a try. The brisket is as good as anything I've had in Texas. The ribs were maybe a little dry but still soft and flavorful. The fried catfish was crispy and light, but the fries were a little too brown and soggy, though still tasty. The beans were seasoned and the macncheese was gooey and yummy. They have pretty good sweet tea! We'll be back to try some of the many other menu items. I suspect they will be good.

Wanted a local spot right off interstate for diner. This place had great reviews so stopped. Street parking. Rustic vibe inside and out. Husband and I both had the 2 meat plate 3 sides and he added the ribs. The sliced brisket was the best. Great flavor but a little dry. Pulled pork, ribs and sausage all had good flavor. Potato cassorole, Mac and cheese, okra and coleslaw were all good but nothing special. Everything overall was a little dry.

I'm from the South so trust me when I say that this place would do fine in Macon, Tallahassee, Montgomery, or Jackson. The pork and chicken are smoky and tender, while the catfish is crispy and breaded to perfection. It's a nice taste of the South in Wyoming.

Great food and atmosphere! I had the loaded potato with brisket and it was amazing! Definitely will be back!
