Great food, friendly service. We stopped in around 3:30 in the afternoon not expecting to still have a salad bar, but were pleasantly surprised to see it was not only still up, but it was a nice, fresh spread of in-house fare including two different soups. Three of our party ordered pie and an apple dumpling. They were very impressed. Definitely contradicts the few bad reviews I read on here.

Typical diner food. Not too expensive, but not too fresh either. Very satisfactory for a leisurely lunch/dinner after hiking. Wait staff is friendly and good with kids.

Hidden gem. Have driven past this so many times. We were on our way back to MN from WI, and finally decided to stop. So glad we did! Was all you can eat prime rib with buffet from 5-9. Good prices, awesome food, and even better service! Highly recommend. We will be back, as this was definitely worth the drive!

If you have the right expectations, this place is fantastic. Straight out of the 60s, with wood paneling, heavy wooden furniture, a fireplace, old school lamps, etc. It's awesome. The servers are around the same vintage. The food is old school -- fish fry on Friday, all you can eat prime rib on Saturday, brunch, breakfast served all day. My son and I grabbed lunch before a hike. He said his burger was "better than Shamrocks", which means incredible. Baked potato was still in the foil, as it should be. I had a classic greasy spoon breakfast, replete with bad Farmer Brothers coffee (a must-have). We'll be back!
