Very nice place with awesome customer service. We went to this on a Saturday evening around 7:30 P.M. It wasn't that busy but after we went all the tables started to fill up quickly. They have a digital menu so be ready to scan the menu or better to review the menu before you go to the place. We tried Hot chocolates and Milkshakes. They have a lot of variety in their menu from pancakes to burgers. Prices are reasonable for a desert place. Definitely recommend to try this place.
The vibe is awesome. Super cute inside and spacious so perfect for families and big group of friends too. Dessert was delicious. We got the Hazelnut and Twisted Chocolate milkshakes, Chocolate hazelnut Latte and For The Love of Rocher skillet cookie. So good.. I'd like to recognize Carlos who served us at the Ajax location ..his politeness and great customer service was honestly really heart warming...just a really nice guy. They're lucky to have him there! : thanks Carlos.
Really aesthetic and funky place. Food was good and cheesecake was great. I gave it 3 stars because both hot chocolates had such a weird taste to it it seemed it like it was made from skim or a weird milk. It was the first time I was disappointed with a hot chocolate. Although, the server was very nice and brought us whipped cream instead of ice cream for our cheesecake!
We love desserts and were really looking forward to our visit to D Spot, having read all of the wonderful reviews. Our experience was mixed though. The server was friendly and we got a table easily weekend afternoon, but I was disappointed when we got dirty dishes there were leftovers stuck on the plates and stained cutlery chocolate stains. The server apologized immediately and brought us fresh plates. The dessert portions were large, but the bananas were over-ripe. I was also surprised to see the server handling a crepe with his bare hands behind the counter. At the other dessert place we go to, I have always seen staff handle food with gloves on. All together, the visit was pleasant, but I think the other dessert place in Whitby remains our favourite.
This is an interesting place. The decor was funky. My kids liked it. Personally, I think the food was not good. If you go there just stick to the desserts. The waffle cone was strange. It taste like styrofoam and was hard as ever. It was like that was the last come they made.... 2 days ago. With a few small changes this place can get more stars.
Wonderful dessert spot. Definitely worth trying and going back. They also have a good variety of Savory dishes .. and are open till late. Tried the hidden gem and warm apple waffle.. both delicious!!
So sweet the first thing that comes to mind after eating here. Make sure you have a sweet tooth before coming hear because I couldn’t believe the amount of sugar. I really like the rose ice cream very Delicious. The Ferraro pie was way too sweet for me couldn’t have more than 3 bites. The presentation is amazing and the server was very nice and helpful. Decor is amazing And really good for those ppl who like taking pictures for instagram and what not. There is ample employees as well.
Scrumptious desserts and mains. The location is very clean, service quick, and the waitstaff professional and friendly. Our waiter CARLOS was knowledgeable about the menu, patient with our kiddos ordering, and sweet.
We went there about 2 days ago after looking at the reviews on google. We did go there when it was an hour until closing. We went in and saw that they were slightly busy but they were extremely slow when it came to cleaning up the dirty tables. There were so many tables that could have been cleaned faster. They were not prepared for a potential rush. They left the garbage right beside our table without finishing the cleaning, making it really uncomfortable to eat. They did not give us water and cutlery right away and they seemed like they were trying to avoid the customers at some times. The only reason as to why they are receiving the 2 stars is because the desserts were really good. We really enjoyed them. The bad service really killed the vibe. We would probably look to go to a different location to avoid this disappointment. We would really appreciate for the Owner to see this and take some action into changing this.
The service here is amazing. Nathalie was friendly and helped us decide what to order from the vast range of dishes. I wanted to try a new drink and was recommended the Hug in a mug, I enjoyed putting the drink together myself as I could determine how sweet I wanted the drink. It was delicious! Everything arrived promptly. We will definitely be coming back again!
