DO NOT GET YOUR EYEBROWS DONE HERE! the lady won't listen to your instructions no matter what you tell her! she messed mine up COMPLETELY when i asked her for a clean up and to keep my thickness and shape the same. she also left wax on my eyebrows and my lips after the upper lip wax. not to mention she also waxed off a part of my eyebrow i've been trying to grow in for over a year. NEVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN

I absolutely love The Cut Above! and more specifically Daphne! she did an amazing job with my hair! for years i have been looking for a stylist that can do what i want and i have finally found one! i told her what i wanted and she did exactly that and it was beyond what i ever expected! the prices are very reasonable and its a great environment! all the workers are very warm and welcoming which just adds to the experience!

If you are a black women DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT go in here. I called beforehand to make an appointment for a simple wash and blow dry I asked on the phone if they know how to do black hair and they told me they had a guy who did it. Went in for my appointment the next day and when the stylist saw my hair I could just tell he did not want to deal with it. He washed and conditioned my hair then he went off to do someone else hair while he said to a white stylist "comb her hair for me". If you are the only stylist that knows how to do black hair why are you letting someone else comb my hair who doesn't know what she is doing!!! He put me under the hooded dryer for a bit, complained that my hair was taking so long to dry and I saw him take out a flat iron so I asked if he was flat ironing my hair he said yes. I told him I did not want my hair flat ironed I just wanted it blown out. He said he couldn't my hair was too "tough" at that point I was over it and I walked out hair half wet half dry and looking a complete mess. Stylist was completely unprofessional and rude to me and he clearly did not know what he was doing. I've gone to many other places and they've been able to blow out my hair just fine he was just inexperienced and did not know what he was doing.

Do not get your eyebrows waxed here!! I had to wait almost a half hour for the girl to finish her break.. she walked in, ddnt wash her hands then (after I asked the girl with the gigantic full eyebrows to NOT thin mine out to match my scar, thats exactly what she did!) It took me a long time to fill out my brows to have her not listen and make them pencil thin!! She did not groom them or cut the longer hairs just hacked them off with wax which was exactly what I asked her not to do!! 3wks later and im still waiting on them to grow back!! Horrible!! I gave specific instruction on how I wanted them and she did the total opposite not listening at all! I Will never go back!!
