I am originally from South India, the menu is south Indian however the food taste is not. The sambar is average, coconut chutney is very lemony, dosa is average. Place did not look busy. Soup was good.
Me and my family had a great time at this restaurant, the service was nice and the food was great. Good taste and proportions.
We went to this restaurant for the first time today. It's the worst south Indian meal we have ever had. Their coconut chutney is a disaster. Just coconut and water. It wasn't even blended properly. The sambar was tasteless also watered down. They served mini medu vadas for over $5. We will never go back there again. Don't be fooled by the attractive pictures on their menu pamphlets, the food does not look any close to it and the taste is not worth the money. If we could give a lesser rating we would. Everything is tasteless and nothing is seasoned properly
I went with a friend on the day it opened and they were a little overwhelmed so we had to wait a while for our food. The staff was very apologetic and courteous which was very much appreciated. When the food did arrive, it was hot and fresh and we loved everything. The chutney was not watery, the masala and mysore dosas were very flavorful, overall an amazing experience!
Good place for a quiet dinner. We ordered cream of tomato, idly sambar, Vada sambar, vegetable uttappa, mango shake, and of course Mysore masala that we'd always order in any South Indian restaurant. All dishes came with 3 chutneys and sambar. The taste is OK. The tomato soup and mango shake were good so I do recommend those. Service was fast and friendly. No waiting times experienced.
We ordered masala dosa and medu vada, the chutney was watery and the potato filling in the masala dosa was not even closer to authentic, medu vada was dry and hard. I will suggest the owners to compare thier quality of dish with Madras restaurant at Bovaird, you will certainly taste the difference. Please take this as a feedback and hope you guys improve.
This is a Dosa Dreamland! Great place to have South Indian dishes. I would highly recommend their Achari Dosa. Sambar and chutneys are so delicious and authentic. Quick service and great ambiance. Food orders were collected promptly and within minutes food was out. Tables were cleared quickly between courses. Would highly recommend this place for an authentic South Indian Experience
Nothing close to the authentic south Indian food. The idli was dry and looked like it came from the microwave. The chutneys were decent. Needs a lot of improvement on the taste and quality of food.
Overall good but I was expecting a very good sambhar. Sambhar was sweet and thick. I really liked their samosa char mango lassi and Rasam they are a hit. Even chole masala is very nice but quantity of chole is bit less.
