Disclaimer: I am not an expert on any Indian cuisine. All I can comment on is if tastes good to me. Having said that, this place has very good food. The best I have ever had. The service was very good too. The prices were very affordable and reasonable. I love how you can also get some excellent Indian sweet pastries at the end of your meal. My new go to when I am craving Indian food.
I had ordered first time from this place - I ordered Paneer Tikka . Got home and opened the box - All the veggies were raw and paneer was not cooked properly . I called the Restaurant and the lady was rude . She want me to drive back 20 mins to replace the item . My concern when you guys pack it - please make sure you are packing the correct items . Thanks .
Sweet Palace is in the heart of Brampton Springdale karol bagh plaza. There is always a line up of customers. We went to have lunch and ordered chane Bathurst and makki roti saag. The quantity of chane and saag was too less compared to roti amd bhathure. When we showed our concern they said buy another separate bowl. No customer service at all. Rude behavior. Just one paper towel on the table of two. Water was served in plastic glasses.
We have ordered samosa from them first time. but the taste of samosa’s were so bad,even not properly cooked. We did garbage all the samosa’s.
Went to this restaurant on September 5, 2021 and tried chole bhathure and butter chicken with garlic naan. Everything was good. Check my food review on YouTube channel - pvcrazyforfood
Got catering from this place and the food was amazing excellent portion sizes, we have ordered from numerous other places but found Sweet Palace to have the best taste and value. Packing came very well together in boxes plus none of the cheap catering foil trays. Let’s put it this way the food was so good another family ordered catering from them the next day. Keep up the excellent quality!
I only ordered some samosas to go. They were delicious, arrived fresh and quickly. They young lady who served me was friendly. The lady at the cash was a little "urgent" almost to the point of being rude. Still I will return.Food: 5/5
I loved their vegetarian thali. Great selection of curries including Achari paneer, shahi paneer, Malai kofta. It also came with rice and naan. I got the garlic naan for an additional dollar and it was totally worth it. The thali includes rice, salad or raita. The thali comes with desert and I had the option of gulab jamun and gajrela gajar ka halwa and I picked the gajrela and it was yummy. This place is clean and has a great selection of sweets too. Their boondi ladoo, alsi ladoo , besan ladoo are really good. Their prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly.
We ordered chicken tikka yesterday and it was the worst ever chicken we’ve ever had. Chicken was completely raw, and we had to throw away both the servings we ordered. They’re okay for some vegetarian items but their dry chicken dishes are really bad.
Pretty decent Indian food spot. They are always busy. We were there late Sunday night and had about a ten minute wait. We ordered the veg thali, samosa channa, butter chicken and a mango shake. The samosa channa came after our mains. The items on the thali were good. The malai Kofta wasn't the greatest, felt like it wasn't properly cooked. The dal makhani was great and naan was also very tasty. The gulab jamun was also very good, super fresh and soft. The butter chicken was pretty decent too, gravy was fresh and tasty. We ordered a few items for takeout as well, which was ok. They didn't taste as good as the items fresh. Definitely a decent spot for Indian food.
