The Crystal Sands Beach Resort is located in Northeastern Michigan near Saginaw Bay on Lake Huron. If you’re planning a trip up north to the east side of Northern Michigan on the Great Lakes, you will find a new, modern, family friendly vacation resort.

Story

Taylor Cottages were purchased in 2014 by Sam and Nada Bydoun. They renamed the property Crystal Sands Beach Resort, after seeing the pristine clear waters reflect sparkles of light like diamonds brushing against the clean, soft sandy beach.

In the fall of 2014, they embarked on a massive renovation project, rebuilding the infrastructure from the water and septic system to the complete renovation of the guest suites and cottages.

Without a destination in mind; my friend, her son, his 2 friends & I jumped in the car and drove north. We drove, deciding we'd stop when we found a place that felt "right." Crystal Sands Resort was the place! My friend & I went into the office to check things out & we were greeted by the most kind woman named Nada. She answered our questions, showed us the suits, villas and the boat house... the 3 teens found the beautiful beach. We ended up staying for 3 days, all of us had an incredible time. Laying on the beach, swimming, kayaking & paddle boating during the day and eating smores around the campfire at night. I've already started making plans for my next visits there... Stop to check it out yourself, ask for Nada (the owner)

Honestly, I've been to so many places before I came across this beautiful and relaxing vacation spot. I have officially chosen this resort as my permanent getaway. Love it. Love the friendly staff and the wonderful view.

Beautiful place!!! Beach is amazing. Can't believe it's only a couple hours away from home. Very clean. Owners were great, service was outstanding. Highly recommend. Would give more than 5 stars if I could.

My wife and I were looking for a place to stay for the weekend.we were looking around and this one was the best of all of them.All the other ones looked run down and the prices are even more affordable This place is so gorgeous and so comfortable feeling.It feels like you're somewhere else other than in Michigan .My wife and I are Definitely coming back Next year for sure .But honestly I think we found our new vacation spot. The owners make you feel like you're Home away from Home spot.

Beautiful resort! Very friendly environment and great service. The boat house was a great stay and very clean and organized. Highly recommend!!
