Crunchy's

Crunchy's is the place to be! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The burgers are delicious and their long island is the best in town! A must visit when in East Lansing. Overall a fun environment with outdoor seating when the weather is warm.

I ordered a whiskey sour and a Famous Chrunchys Burger. The only sour I got was the attitude I received from the waitress there short, stocky, thick eyeliner, hair faded on the sides. Perhaps it was my pigment that upset her -- hard to tell, but even just asking about the specials they have and what the "Famous Crunchys Burger" was, she found upsetting. In particular, the menu said "Hospitality night" which I read as "hospital night", and she rolled her eyes and snapped with the most disgusting attitude that even my friends made a comment after the exchange. Foodwise, the burger was good but the fries could use some work. Ambience wise, it's very student-bar grunge feel, which means not the cleanest area to grab a bite. Overall, there's better options in the area with way better service, so when it comes Chrunchys, I recommend a SKIP. Especially if you look anything like me -- if you get my drift -- doesn't appear some of us are welcome here Update: took off an additional star for the hostile response I got from the manager or whoever responds to the reviews. He dared me to send an email, which I did, and I received no response. However it's looks like they deleted the review reply after realizing how they came across. Yep... Definitely not a great spot to visit.

Great little bar to stop and grab a drink and a bite to eat. Friendly staff, packed during a Sunday game, exciting crowd!

My parents and I had a late lunch here today and it was outstanding. Our waitress was very friendly and knew all about their lunch specials as well as every single draft they had on tap or in stock. The Crunchy burger was excellent, the bun that they use is the best in town, and the tater tots were delicious. I also appreciate that they had more than one hard cider option to choose from. We will definitely be coming back!

Crunchy's rarely disappoints. It's one of the only places in town that can be trusted to prepare your burger exactly as you want and where you can feel comfortable with their food safety. Immunocompromised person here who loves rare burgers. Crunchy's is the ONLY place I can order a burger rare in Mid-Michigan! Don't sleep on the tots with Cajun seasoning! Kid-friendliness: What kid wouldn't like tots and pizza nugs? We've been going to Crunchy's as a family for decades when it's not busy or at night.

Good all-around bar restaurant. If you like thick crust pizza, they have one of the best I've had. The crust is like the freshest bread, the toppings are fresh and tasty, and generous amount of cheese.Food: 5/5

This was our first time here. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. Our waitress looked like she didn't want to be there. In fact, she left after taking our order without telling us. Our food took forever. Seemed like they forgot about us. I finally ahs to ask about our food. We ordered a bucket of onion rings that didn't come out until our meals came and they were cold. The rest of the food we ordered taste good. It's just too bad the service was so poor. The waitress that took over after our original one left was very friendly.

Great bar food. I had the Flounder sandwich and loved it. Fresh made tartar sauce, even! The fries were exceptional as well. Great lunch spot.

We recently went to Crunchy’s over Christmas break when the students were home. I’m an alumni and enjoyed the karaoke atmosphere! I’ve been to Crunchy’s many times but have never seen it where everyone was singing everyone’s songs. It was great meeting different people. The host and DJ did a great job as well!

Was here after touring MSU and enjoyed the food and drink. Our tour guide highly recommended this place as a must place to see. The tater tots were perfectly crisp!Recommended dishesTator Tots
