I’ve been going to this place for quite sometime now. They have the best bread. Prices are cheap comparing to other Afghan stores. They always try to accommodate, even if it’s right before closing the store. Wahid’s wife and children are very respectful, and friendly. I had a tough experience with this business. With confidence I bought a pocket of rice, when I get home, the product was expired and completely unusable and unhealthy. I had returned the rice back to the store, the owner behaved with me like a stranger. While he had not accept to exchange the product, he even not listening to customers. Due to the health concerns, I recommend to the local community and the city authorities to review his license and put more restrictions on this type of business in order to reduce the load of public health.

Super disappointing…this is the third time this has happened. I went into the store to buy bread/naan. I was told they had yesterday’s left and would go get it from the back. A gentleman, who came into the store after me, went to the side window, spoke in their language and was handed 8 naans. The owner turned to me and simply said “none left”. Wow! Will never shop here again. Read the reviews… if I could give zero based on the number of times they have taken customers before me and given my merchandise, while I am standing there to their “friends” is truly disappointing.

I bought a meat veal from them today, the butcher gave me long pieces and poor quality meat. I never check the meat when buying because I trust. When I came home and my wife say a meat she said what the hell is this. I called the store and lady said talk to meat section. I went back to meat section and told them my concern and the clean shave guy was extremely rude. I am not going there again. Extremely poor quality meat and customer services. I wish I could give them zero star which they deserve. I will be taking it to consumer court as well because of high prices.
